We always value those who have been there for us...be it friends, colleagues, relatives or parents! Kids will always remember how they were treated at home -how much parents are interested in their lives - small wins and failures - it matters to them when you hear their repetitive stories about school....time is the biggest prerequisite for raising kids....they will always talk fondly about parents or nanny or that teacher in boarding school who stood for them and made them feel loved. One has to be invested in their emotional needs. One should be able to strike a good connection with growing kids. Only time allows that. Unfortunately in woke world instead of balancing out...we find ways to compensate that time with other things be it a gift or day care...child raising is something that even a c e o of big company would struggle with..he/ she would be aceing in board meets but would have some issues with kids ..it's not easy...the idea is to never let the child feel your absence. One can do a part time job but you can't be a part time parent.
