महिपाल जी बहुत अच्छे लगे थे इस फ़िल्म में। उनका अभिनय भी मार्के का था। नायिका तो ख़ैर अच्छी थीं ही।

लक्ष्मीकांत प्यारेलाल जी की यह पहली फिल्म थी और इसके सभी गाने हिट हुए थे और आज भी यादगार है, क्यों की पुराने गाने बहूत मेहनत से बनाते थे और उसकी नीव शास्त्रीय संगीत के आधार पर होती थी इसलिए ५० साल पुराने गाने आज भी यादगार है और ५० दिन पुराने गाने बहूत जलदी भूल जाते हैं!

नायिका ने फ़िल्म में, और हर गाने में बहुत ही अच्छे भाव दिए हैं, अदाकारी की है। उन्हें नमन।

भारतीय संगीत का मुकाबला कोई नहीं कर सकता है । विदेशी संगीत तो नीरस है ।
