Parasitic Mind Control: Who's Really in Command? | Maggie Bartlett & Madalyn McFarland | TEDxUNO

Did you know that one in three people have a brain parasite? TEDxUNO speakers Maggie Bartlett and Madalyn McFarland share all about how this came to be, as well as possible solutions.
Maggie Bartlett is a first year Immunology, Pathology and Infectious Disease doctoral student at the University of Nebraska at Omaha Medical Center (UNMC) and was selected as the Chancellor’s Outstanding Incoming Ph.D. Student. She is a UNO alumni with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biotechnology where she was an INBRE scholar.
During her time at UNO, her focus was development and testing of novel Toxoplasma gondii vaccines. Maggie will be the first Ph.D. candidate to pursue her dissertation at the United States Army Medical Research Institute for infectious diseases (USAMRIID) through a new pipeline program with UNMC. Her focus will be host-response immunomics, specifically of the immune repertoire to filoviruses, alpha viruses, and corresponding vaccines.
Madalyn McFarland is a second year master’s degree student in biology at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. After earning her bachelor's degree at UNO in biotechnology, she began her thesis work in the laboratory of Dr. Paul Davis, on the parasite Toxoplasma gondii. Her work focuses on the development of experimental compounds into novel antiparasitic drug treatments.
This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at ted.com/tedx

It seems "demons" are thought of as magical, mystical, more powerful than any person, "so you need to accept some god to sort your life for you, take the reigns, it's all a divine test, be faithful for rewards when you've been used until death..." but parasites need to be understood, not accepted and can be fought. Resisting mysterious compulsions such as following trends of mattress surfing or laundry soap pod or cinnamon challenges might be a start.

so if you feed it something like a conducting thing and than use radio waves think in the form of metal or carbon or fluid amounts ? Chance it using biochemistry maybe and than roast ‘m with radio waves !!! So using 13.x megahertz you can split salt water so chemistry like getting the right frequency that we survive and making the organism more conductive !!! And also let’s say if we use something like nicotine that is an broad spectrum bug killer since the bug dies before you do !!! So we are actually using it to kill bugs in plants I discovered that after “exposure” to dust mites it turns out to help fight the itch cigars do and tobacco soap !!! So if I only use tobacco soap I am afraid that I might get some critters to dig in !!! So I use Tobacco soap to get rid of the itches !! Every time I am close to certain animals not all and certain people I get sick So I decided to go looking for specific bugs and bacteria to see If I need to apply some tech to myself with help of a doc and an engineering comrade !!!

While her counterpart is spewing her info while taking shallow chest breaths. Forcing her to get out as much information as possible before her next short breath, and not allowing herself to fully oxygenate her brain. That's why you can see her eventually begin to slow and have to think of the next words she going to say even though this is a rehearsed presentation. Just something I've been interested in. Why do we hear a snort every time the red haired girl finishes a sentence? Maybe it's her mic malfunctioning, but that's an unusual malfunction. Hmm... just something to ponder. 🤔
