I absolutely love listening to Vineet Sir. He's an inspiration for us all. That being said, I was put off by the pop-up pictures included in this video. You can easily find pictures that are relevant to Hindu scriptures and history. Not sure why you inserted pictures from foreign mythologies and history when the topic is clearly Hindu history.

Very nice, thank you for compiling all of this information. I do think that the explanation in this video/book is very literal. It would nice to know the cosmic angle of this. Since Parashuram Ji lives for 21 yugas I am sure there must be a cosmic angle, or it maybe a title of multiple ppl with a common goal. I feel the story is more allegorical and should be studied from that angle as well.

सागर मंथन के पश्चात देवासुर संग्राम हुआ। देवासुर संग्राम के पश्चात बचे हुए असुर दैत्य गुरु शुक्राचार्य जी के पिता महर्षि भृगु के आश्रम में शरणार्थी हो गए। असुरों के विनाश के लिए वचनबद्ध भगवान विष्णु महर्षि भृगु के आश्रम में गए। महर्षि भृगु की पत्नी ख्याति ने दुष्ट प्रवृत्ति वाले राक्षसों को शरण दी थी। भगवान विष्णु ने अपने वचन का मान रखने के लिए असुरों को शरण देने वाली महर्षि भृगु की पत्नी दैत्य गुरु शुक्राचार्य की माता ख्याति का अपने सुदर्शन चक्र से शीश काट दिया। महर्षि भृगु ने श्राप दिया कि राम अवतार के समय आपको पत्नी वियोग सहना पड़ेगा। परम शिव शक्ति उपासक दैत्य गुरु शुक्राचार्य जी ने भगवान विष्णु को श्राप दिया कि जिस प्रकार से आपने मेरी माता का शीश कटा है अपने अगले अवतार में आप अपनी माता का शीश काटेंगे, जो पीड़ा मुझे हो रही है वह आपको भी होगी मेरी पीड़ा का एहसास आपको तब होगा जब आप अपने ही हाथों से अपनी माता का शीश काटोगे। ब्रह्मांड पुराण में भगवान विष्णु के इस महान अवतार लीला का बेहतर ढंग से वर्णन है।

Mahabharata and the Puranas record that Parashurama was born to the Brahman sage Jamadagni and the princess Renuka, a member of the Kshatriya class. When Jamadagni suspected Renuka of an unchaste thought, he ordered Parashurama to cut off her head, which the obedient son did.

Maharishi Jamadagni's wife Renuka had gone to the lake to take bath Seeing King Chitraratha boating there, Renuka became disturbed in her mind Seeing this disturbance Sage Jamadagni became very angry and Jamadagni ordered his sons to Kill mom but they didn't do it But Parashurama did kill his own mother and brothers.
