I am a private security guard and i worked here alone last week. There was alot of paranormal activities going on here both in and outside of the building. Inside I heard foot steps, stuff falling down and people talking. The worst part was the doors slamming shut, I than quickly tried to exit the building and found the exit door that I kept open shut. I pushed the door it wouldn't open on the third try it opened. In the back yard area I heard what sounded like people banging on the doors from inside. A lot of activities going on their. I then looked up this place on youtube and Google and learned that it's haunted. Which does not surprise me.

OK my mom used to work there b4 as a janitor. But I remember they used to do theater and plays there as well. It was called Bilingual foundation of the arts. This was when the jail was there no more. I used to roam around that place alot. As a kid it was hell of scary!

Back i. The 90s. There was a boxing gim in the 5th floor. I went to train there, however, the 7 floor was haunted. I remember going up there, to exercise my legs, by going up and down the stairs, and right before you'll get to the 7 floor, you can actually hear women talking, but the doors are always kept closed.except the 5 floor, for abvious reason I just mention. in the 90s,

My dad always loved the sport of boxing and training anyone who wanted to learn. My dad and my eldest brother worked at the 1984 Olympics When Paul Gonzalez won the Gold medal 🥉 for The American Team.

Little bit of movie history for this place. The basement was used as the filming location in “Nightmare On Elm Street” for the Freddy Cougar furnace movie scenes. The big red furnace is the place where the Elm Street parents took Freddy to burn him up. Well, at least in that movie universe anyway. The jail was also used for the movie “American History X” All the prison scenes were shot there. If anyone is familiar with the L.A. ZootSuit riots and the play and movie “ ZootSuit” the actual events took place in that jail that the play is based on.

I know because there were people in my neighborhood that experienced certain things in certain places. And then eventually I experienced a few things myself. Let me know if you’d like me to share with you.
