It could have been better.
A small chain of events ended well but I returned home with my tail between my legs.
- I thought I was in the wind. At least 2 minutes earlier
- My back tilted forward instead of backwards.
- I tried to correct the take-off by turning first to the right and then to the left. The circular protection pulled the lines DX of the DUDEK Warp 2 too much, increasing the closure. 🤦🏻‍♂️
- I didn't look at the whole wing but only the left side to see if the centring was OK :-(
- I felt absolutely no difference between the two risers and did not abort.
No damage to me except in my pride.
No damage to the new Falcon propeller
Only one attachment that came off trying to straighten it. A few minutes of TIG welding at a welding shop where the owner is very friendly and I solved everything. We learn from our mistakes.
