I have learned revit 8 month ago. i am o/k with this. i am using your tips all the time. i was able to do things that even the teacher was explaining very mixed and confused. i was amazed to do things on revit , that i was thinking they r not understood too me. your louvre video is amazing. i did it . after so many months that i try 2 understand how too make louvre. thank u!!!!

Nice tutorial! Just the profile families no need to make 3, we can make just one and the angle can be adjusted on the family types after it is loaded to the project. in the top opening project browser/family. Then make 3 types.

Mr Balkan Architect. I always have something ı couldnt figure out. In the mullion family edit type menu. Under dimensions. There is width on side 1 and width on side 2, sum of them determines the total width of mulions (front view width (not thickness or depth) . If we have 50x150 mm mullion. It has 2,5cm and 2.5cm values for that. I am always wondering what is the benefit of typing 2 values for a width output resulting from the sum of width on side 1 and side 2 inputs. And when you create the new mullion family and choose the profile for the louver that you made to use on mullion family, those width on side 1 and on side 2 value inputs in the dimension section were uneditable. How can we add a parametrr to the profile so we can use that dimension options of widths for louver profiles? I am studying architecture. I know revit but not much about families. Sorry for the question if it was unlogical. Also thank you for your kind and nice tutorials. I would surely support you as soon as ı can afford to do it Best Regards,

Sadly it didn't work at the end and I couldn't see the louvres.

Please I need create a family of dampers. The frame is 3” at the bottom; 1.5” at the top.The blade thickness is the same. You may change the quantities of blades (at 12” each) to increase the height to 24”, 36”, and 48”, and the blade length will be 24”, 30”, 36”, 42”, and 48”. A total of 15 different sizes. this examples is not working is I need drop on any kind of wall
