Watch this very rare video of Paramahamsa Hariharanandaji speaking at a program in Bogota, Colombia, in June 1975. The video is recorded in black and white and it also has a simultaneous translation to español. The quality of the video is of course not as good as it is now a days, but all spiritual seekers will enjoy hearing Hariharanandaji speak with love and energy about the utility of Kriya Yoga in the modern scientific world. Paramahamsaji mentions that he came to the West and to Colombia to fulfill the wish of the four Gurus of Kriya Yoga - Babaji Maharaj, Lahiri Mahasaya, Shri Yukteshwarji and Paramahamsa Yogananda. He finishes his discourse by telling all Kriyavans that "Meditate and you will get God realization".
Paramahamsa Hariharanandaji is a revered Kriya Yoga master who traveled to the west to bring the scientific technique of Kriya Yoga to this part of the world. He was the Guru of a long and unbroken lineage of Masters starting with Babaji Maharaj and including such spiritual giants as Yogiraj Shri Shyamacharan Lahiri Mahashaya, Swami Shriyukteshwar Giri, Shri Bhupendranath Sanyal Mahashaya, Paramahamsa Yogananda the author of Autobiography of a Yogi, Swami Satyananda Giri. Well before his mahasamadhi in Dec 03 2002, he had anointed Paramahamsa Prajnanananda as the current guru of the lineage. I had the honor of receiving Kriya Yoga in the period of this video directly from Swamiji during his visit to Colombia (1975) a life changing experience ! 1979 in Edmonton Canada Swamiji Hariharananda initiated so many into the permanency of Kriya Yoga.. direct from the line of gurus. I was initiated by our baba himself .. he induced a whirling sphere of bright purple red/blue light which splashed into my forehead. It was amazing of course: this is what our Baba Hariharananda is talking about. I am a benefited witness to this divine light thanks to him. Peace to all .. balance of mind. Paramahansa Hariharananda lives on still in touch with his initiated devotees. We perceive the divine in our meditation !!
