On 20/11/2021 I was travelling back to howrah. I was onboard 12074 Jan Shatabdi exp which departed Bbs at 6:00 am..juzt 7 min. before 12842 Coromandel exp departed 5:53 am which was 3.5hrs and juzt before that 18046 east coast exp departed at 5:34 am..After departing BBS both Coromandel and Jan Shatabdi again met at Cuttack..Coromandel given the precedance first and departed first... Due to short tripling section between Cuttack and Jajpur the cat and mouse chase started..first Jan Shatabdi overtakes coromandel exp..then after 3 min Coromandel exp overtakes Jan shatabdi..but finally Jan shatabdi overtakes coromandel exp after haridaspur..and then Jan Shatabdi overtakes East Coast exp at Soro..and then a funny thing happened we arrived Kharagpur at 10:45 am..delayed by 5 min.. Suddenly a train aarived at 10:54 am..I thought it might be the Coromandel exp but to my surprise it was Sri Satya Sai Nilayam Howrah exp which departed BBS at 6:16 am..means it overtook Coromandel exp..Bad day for the legend..Finally we approved Howrah at 12:40 pm bang on time..Then the SSPN Howrah arrived at 13:02 pm..then Coromandel at 13:20 pm..
