I so agree. He is the best scratch tutor. Every time I follow another tutors tutorial, It always doesn't work but griffpatch's code is trustworthy.

Without you man, I wouldn't be in the place I was in today. My mom passed away 4 years ago and during summer break after school, this killed me inside, I couldn't sleep or hardly eat anymore after that. I decided to hop on scratch after like 4 years because it was a joy learning how to toy with the basics back in elementary, and it filled me with joy the day I hopped back on. It was a bit overwhelming with all the options to choose from when it comes to blocks, but none the less I was back. I made myself some friends and did some weird collabs with then and it was all fun and games 'till middle school came around. My final project in school was to make a scratch game, so I went with your tutorial on Lemonoids and added my own features after I watched all the episodes. And I passed! We spent the entirety of class that one day just playing my scratch game, people said it was hard but it was fun. I finally made something good and fun in scratch with your help. Thank you, Griffpatch.

Thank you so much I’ve been trying to figure out a parallax background for quite some time now for a game I’ve been working on

I usually set the background and floor to a bright red color in the costume, so that way I can use the color effect and brightness effect to change the background and floor colors, and I usually make the backgrounds slightly darker

Will you ever continue the Mario Tile Scrolling series to add mobile support for the editor and player movement too? I've been trying to manually create the level using add and replace list blocks because I can't get the editor to work on mobile devices.

Just seeing this thumbnail on the home page made my day, excellent work Griffpatch and keep making these amazing videos Edit: I have a bug with the portal where if the camera was moved up before the player enters the portal, the floor submerges the level, how do I fix it?

One day I think I could make a coding team and make a very realistic rocket sim, like KSP, but way more complicated and fun

We also need an episode on how to make a level editor and creator of Geometry Dash levels in game so that players can make their own levels and play!

What you should do next for the 3D raycaster is to allow for floor hazards, now that you have added jumping. I am talking bottomless pits or lava flows. I could try to recreate this with entities, but I don't think it would work well.

I think we can! I think it’s surprisingly simple. We just go to the 2D map and shoots a small particle to the direction of the player. Then if it touches the entity, it disappears! 🫠

Dear griffpatch, will you ever make a level editor for the geometry dash in scratch series?

I just realized that you could use the Tile Scrolling Platformer series to make levels (not costume editor) and make the background scroll

will we ever have a way to have the spikes full white? its bugging me because of that annoying yellow!

If you can be bothered to duplicate the level sprite and separate the spikes from the level then you can use a touching spikes to trigger death

there was no snow in the UK. i can confirm bcause i live in the UK.
