The only moba I ever liked. The only game I got amazing skins without ever spending a dime. The only game that I ever felt so much passion for. I don't know if any current game can fill the void left behind by Paragon.

SMITE is terrible. The controls don't feel right, the animations can't decide if it's 2D or 3D, and it's a bad mix of cartoon and realism that doesn't improve with higher graphics settings.

Josh Williams I got the gilded golden scarab grux skin first loot crate. A bunch of seasonal skins, many twinblast skins and 2 master skins. It was a feeling unlike any other game. I'm chill but I will miss it for sure.

mastermill79 plenty of proof fortnite devs are former lead devs in paragon, they listened to their fan base, most fans were the free to play people and were idiots, the good devs left. New devs proceeded to kill paragon.

Paragon was one of the best games that i played. I enjoyed it. The fortnite had to come and ruin everything. I hope it comes back as something. Someday

Yeah, they refused to listen to what the community really wanted, and then blamed the community for the shutdown for not being strong enough. They wouldn't have let anyone else take over and continue the project either because if the game became a sudden success, it'd just reveal how much of a failure the Epic Games team really is for Paragon.

It's a real shame that Paragon shut down. The characters, landscapes and concepts were amazing, it just sucks that the devs were trying too hard to constantly rework the item feature

True, however however I don't know if you played during the legacy days but there is gameplay on Facebook of it and by the looks of it we're getting legacy back along with harvesters and a new jungle. So that means we'll most likely get the old card system back as well. All great things. It won't be the same as monolith it it will be the same old paragon we all knew and loved so much

Also true but I'm gonna take everything with a pinch of salt. The biggest problem with this paragon was marketing (We never had a trailer featuring Monolith etc) and it might be the same here especially considering the fact these guys are a very small team.

I'll never forget it. Never. I played Paragon for around 2 years and saw every gamechanging decission (from dunking the Orb earned by the pink big ranged minion, harvester and alpha content camps to v.42 with monolith and raptors untill now). It will live on in my heart in my Gamepad, in my clothes and in my Wallpaper. But I look forward to new projects and I'm very hyped for Project Phoenix Rising. #visionarygames Paragon will live on And maybe it will come back somedays in years stay optimistic Take it with tears but also with a smile in memories of the great times we had. Paragon was getting treated like the middle child who gets little to no attention. They literally did the same shit to Unreal Tournament. They have more than enough money to resurrect both titles with the amount of fans who want it back but they'd rather milk fornite as much as possible. I've Seen it with, Battlefield 2, LEGO Universe, Battlefield Heroes, Master X Master and so on. But trust me, you'll find a new game that you're gonna like for sure. 2018 is the year of Music & Games. So much stuff is coming out it's just amazing to watch.

I've heard of the Darwin Project but Kabounce is news to me. If only I was more popular, I could actually end up saving Indie titles and titles like Paragon. This video made it big, somehow. Maybe, this is the big break I longed for?

I hate seeing any business or game shut down. I sorta felt this may happen since the artsyle wasnt catchy. No, not the art style but the designs weren’t “iconic” enough to compete with other mobas. After all, usually people love playing as awesome looking characters. Paragon’s were a bit on the older twenties adult scifi styled theme, which probabibly didn’t catch most people in.

I'll really miss this game

EPIC started pulling resources "temporarily" from Paragon months before pulling all resources. Now, they're pulling resources from the PVE side of fortnite, which was supposed to be the main part of Fortnite. epic has started treating the Save the World side of the game like Paragon, so now some Fortnite players are worried.

They should just try to bring back legacy and give it a couple of weeks if ppl are going to play it again.

It’s really a shame paragon didnt work out, but I can totally see why it failed. I think simple lack of balance was their problem. Ranged vs melee, ability users vs auto users, some heroes were straight up busted (I’m lookin at you Khaimera) while others couldnt actually be used viably. The Lore was lame and there was nothing engaging produced that kept it interesting. Ironically, I think this shut down trailer really showcases the raw potential this game possessed, essentially acting as a cross between two really popular games: Overwatch and League of Legends. If it had just taken some tabs from both playbooks it could have been a real masterpiece. :/

that's not why it tanked bro. everyone the people consider "op" and needed "balancing" had hard counters and paragon was always high skill high reward which left a huge skill gap. Noobs not knowing how to properly play the game would call characters op raging on forms demanding nerfs and rebalancing and epic would listen and tweak and change map and characters when it wasn't needed. After they did their tweaks people would rage all over again creating constent change making an even huger skill gap then before. the orignal players that actually knew what was going on before the tweaks would be salty because the game was constently tweaked for noob players that had no idea what they were talking about. For example the orignal 60 card points was completly taken out of the game to please noobs that didn't know how to build and manage card points properly. when in reality it was what made the game so diffrent from other games like smite and lol. You had to do hard math and grind numbers to get the best decks to achive whatever play style you wanted to achive. but they got rid of it because of noobs. gg r.i.p paragon

Yeti they shut it down cause they had no more ideas on where to take paragon, when clearly the community did and they didnt even listen to them. Then they decided to take what pubg was and try n make it better and play to that community instead, because it was bringing in more cash and attention. Fortnite is an okay game for being what it is, but Epic has no want in keeping a game that had so much more to offer. Instead they kept their eyes closed and went with the meta. League of legends, Dota, smite, heroes of the storm are all mobas going strong and are not leaving anytime soon.
