When we put on our equipment we have to follow 7 steps, always in the same order. Leg loops first, then center strap, chest strap, helmet, and connect carabiners. Following these steps will prevent us from making fatal mistakes in preparing our equipment. However, that does not mean that it is the only check we should do. Many times we equip ourselves once but do several flights, as in the case of the dune classes in which the students do 5 flights without removing the equipment. For this reason, it is extremely important and mandatory to carry out a final check before taking off, called "Pre-takeoff Check". The pre-takeoff check consists of 5 steps. Some similar to the ones we already did in the 7 steps to equip ourselves but adding very important things that we have to check before taking off.
