Paragliding course | How to use the reserve parachute
In this video I explain the essentials about the use of the reserve parachute: when to use it, how to use it, how to land and what to check before flying with one.
The reserve parachute is essential when we fly in the mountains, especially in thermal conditions. This will be our last resort in the event of an incident that we cannot control and that makes us lose height quickly, such as ties (when the glider gets tangled between the lines), line breaks, very large collapses close to the ground, etc.
There are two systems for carrying the reserve: The most used is on the back of the chair. In this, the parachute is located in an internal container of the harness located mostly at the rear, although some harnesses have it on the side. In both cases, once we put on the harness we will not be able to check if the reserve pin is correctly located.

Muy buenos tus vídeos . En el caso de enredó con un parapente.....si el que está arriba me trae abajo enredado pero el viene volando buen incluso dirigiendo su vela....sería bueno que yo ( que estoy abajo) no tire mi paracaídas para no estropear el vuelo " biplaza"?

Hola Walter. En un situación de enredo con otro parapente, yo tararía el reserva en cualquier pocicion, asi este abajo o arriba. Lo que si procuraría es arrojar el reserva lo más lejos posible del otro parapente

Enero empiezo mis clases de parapente espero adecuarme con el horario
Estoy seguro que sentir el Placer de volar se consigue solo en el parapente. Cualquier otro medio no se consigue el acoplamiento del Alma y aire .los pilotos de avioniones vuelan solo pendientes dd los instrumentos y de la torre de control lo que vuelan y lo toman para deporte extremo vuelan con miedo de morir .paramotor hace mucho ruido. me quedo con el parapente
