As someone who's first pokemon game was X and Y, I really like how Xerneas and Yveltal are represented in this video! Gleaming Aura being a fave not only because of looks, but because it's also the first legendary pokemon I ever met.

Arceunium-Z has a fatal flaw. It can't change type if it isn't holding a plate, and it can't use it's Z-Move if it isn't holding its Z-Crystal...

@@christopherearth9714 yeah i feel like for arceus to have an exclusive z-move you'd either have to make the plates work like they did in legends arceus or you'd have to make it work differently. personally, i think it would be interesting if arceus's z-move was always super effective, but you'd have to recharge for a turn after using it or something. i'm hardly a pokemon balance expert though.

I absolutely loved the video. They really need to add more paradox legendaries because after you beat the game, that would be really fun to go around and try to get all the paradox forms.

Iron Rainbow’s tail looks kinda like the NBC logo. Also, that Meta-Groudon Paradox. Hoo-boy. Better hope that whoever upgraded Meta-Groudon wasn’t the Pokémon version of the Umbrella Corporation, because that is a truly terrifying thought.

The tropes used for each of the designs are inherently associated with the Past (Dinos) and Future (Robots) so they are more than fitting.

Technically Walking Wake isn't against Suicune's lore. If you think about it, it could make perfect sense. The Pokemon that died in the Tower was Walking Wake, not an Eeveelution (Vaporeon) and was revived by Ho-Oh. Of course I might also be completely wrong ( maybe the lore behind the Paradox Pokemon will be revealed in the DLC or Future Games), but I wanted to clarify that as of right now, there is no reason why Walking Wake is against Suicune's lore. Have a nice day everyone! :D EDIT: ok the name "Paradox Pokemon" makes it likely that they didn't really exist in the past. But you can never know...

And How would a Pokémon with legendary stats die in a fire Also Past Paradox Pokémon are supposed to be like from the fossil Pokémon age, hence their very prehistoric appearance, if WW was a normal Pokémon not only should there be more of it elsewhere but one would not survive for that long

These are all so cool! It’s really hard to pick a favorite. Kudos to the artist! Additionally, I really appreciate the clarification of what it means for a Pokémon to be a Paradox Form. I feel like since the concept is so new and conveyed in the way it is (having them in a blocked off/lost land is pretty ingenious, so I don’t blame them) that there are people who really feel like these are past and future forms of existing Pokémon.

As a huge Pokémon card collector the paradox Regigigas reminds me of the Galarian gallery Regigigas VSTAR card from the crown zenith set which shows Regigigas pulling a floating island with a rope and more floating islands in the background.

I hope you look into more Legendary Paradox forms because Subjectively, my favorite fakemon-tuber right now, made paradox forms of the other legendaries in each Official's group, so he made a Ceratopsian Entei and a Pteranadon Raikou, as well as mechanized Kobalion and Terrakion

The therzinosaurus Lugia is a really awesome concept. Props to subarashii for coming up with that one.

4:25 there is a fan art of an ancient Kyogre that is based on mosasaur I saw in another video. Now we need a half past, half future form of rayquaza. Maybe his head is a mechanistic version of mega rayquaza, and the tail is very ancient and resembles regular rayquaza

I just love these paradox fan forms for these legendaries, im a HUGE paleontology fan and I just love those designs. Also that Studio ghibli reference was FIRE! Castle in the Sky is one of my top favorites in that Studios arsenal

here's an idea for 2 paradox legendarys: a past paradox Latios that is more dragon-like and is a dragon-flying type and a future Latias that is even more jet-like and is a psychic-fire, steel, or flying type.

I stick with the theory that paradox Pokemon aren't from the past but from the imaginations and dreams of the magazines in the Pokedex

Honestly i was thinking that maybe the Imagined Pokemon was gonna turn out to be a case of reversal. Like we get a Past Paradox Beast trio and a Future Paradox Sword Trio but then it's gonna be the opposite for the fusion. Like a Past Paradox Keldeo for example which is believed to be the common ancestor of the Swords of Justice. Meanwhile there's a Future Beast that is described as being made from the describe of the pokemon that was resurrected after a tower burned down.

I actually agree with having more of types combos that only share in one pokemon line, I'm working on a pokemon region right now

Well I've been wondering what the Genesect line would actually be. As if Gen 9 introduced convergent evolution it would be interesting if a paradox Pokemon brought in Divergent evolution. Past Genesect could be a bombardier beetle like pokemon in a similar lineage as the Kabutops to Scisor line.

The homage to Wishmaker's Pseudo-Groudon is ingenious. I couldn't get "NBC" out of my head the moment I saw the Ho-Oh one, tho

I love these Fakemon reviews, and these are some awesome designs too! I especially love the XY legends, big kudos to the artist on all of them though... Also seriously what was up with that official Larry thing, Pokemon? Truly cannot tell if that was a "the millennials are in the workforce" moment or a "how do you do fellow teens" moment... This is maybe silly, but today I noticed, for the first time, that in the channel bio Brandon has pronouns listed and I remembered, with a wince, making this comment. Had to find the video where I'd made it but yeah wanted to drop a "mea culpa" for the potential misgendering? I know some folks who use multiple pronouns don't have a preference between them but idk, just feels like it costs me nothing aside from maybe looking a little weird and foolish to respect someone in this case lol

Fun fact: one of the transitions of castle in the sky is "la puta, el castillo en el cielo" the funny part is that la puta translates the wh**e (I don't know why I mentioned it, but I think it's funny)

You know.. the more I see videos of legendary pokemon and mythical pokemon getting a 4th member to a trio set, regional variants, and paradox forms. The more I wish they were canon. Because it takes a lot of inspiration and such to make all kinds of these without making them stale or not just a different color scheme. I mean when giving the term of paradox pokemon. It's amazing that people assume it's either the past or the future versions. But never.. what if their just alternate versions of the past or future of pokemon. So seeing Suicune's paradox form being Walking Wake.. or Virizon's being Iron Leaves. Now it makes much more sense to me.

I saw the art on the video I gotta say I love Regigigas he reminds me so much of the Laputian Robot Troopers from The Castle in the sky. If you you have no idea what I’m talking about your missing out cause the Ghibli movies are fantastic

The one change I would make for the Jirachi one is, since it's a machine, that implies it was created, therefore I don't think it should be able to grant wishes as that is magical, but I do think it could get close with mater creation and alteration. So essentially instead of granting wishes it has the ability to create whatever someone asks of it and can even alter the world around it if requested, but it couldn't do anything such as altering the timeline or bringing the dead back to life. I would imagine it as a machine created by the hand of man to grasp mythic power that had heard of in a long distant path, they failed to achieve this god-like power that sought but they got close, and this is one of the results of that.
