GREAT VIDEO MATTHEW. YOUR HOTEL WAS A GREAT OPTION OVER THE CRAZINESS OF ATLANTIS. WE WERE NOT A FAN AT ALL OF ATLANTIS. THERE WERE SOME BEAUTIFUL AREAS BUT IT LOOKED AND FELT LIKE LIKE A HUGE CHEAPER DISNEY WORLD RESORT. NASSAU IS CONSIDERED TO BE ONE OF THE LEAST POPULAR CRUISE PORTS WHILE CRUISING BUT WE REALLY ACTUALLY LOVED THE TOWN OF NASSAU. THE NASSAU LOCALS AND SHOP OWNERS ARE REALLY COOL AND NICE. THE PEANUTS AND RUM THE LOCAL VENDORS SELL ARE AWESOME AS WELL.

Oh!! I love your family vacation video. I have a husband who loves the casino. He's actually an IT at a local US Indian Casino, and 2 adult daughters. I would love to take them here.

I stayed on paradise island in 1984, that was the real Bahamas! All this commercial crap takes away from experiencing the islands natural beauty , resources, and people. I will always remember that vacation as my favorite! They tore down the holiday inn in pirates cove that place was magical to say the least.

That was an awesome vid of your vacay…looks super relaxing!!

Not happy Matthew - I was 1st to comment on this vlog before you took it down and re-uploaded. Great video and would inspire me to visit Comfort Suites Bahamas if I was not 80. The slides and beach activities require more athletic ability than I have at 80.

It was cool seeing Paradise Island again, It's been years.That's probably the best Comfort Inn & Suites I've seen, defiantly beats the ones in the states... Funny thing while I was watching your video I heard your music playing from the video and thought my video started on it's own in the background. Well according to some people (Jeff Elmasian) not mentioning any names lol I left a long comment the fist time, so this time I will keep it short and say Matthew you did an excellent job showcasing Comfort Suites, that’s fantastic how as a guest at Comfort Suites you have an all access pass to Atlantis… I love The Bahamas .. thank you Matthew for taking time from your vacation to make this vlog, looks like you and Amanda had a well deserved vacation! 🇨🇦🇨🇦

You have to do an all inclusive in Bahamas as the prices for food and drink is very expensive, once you cost it all out it is the only way to go.

I stayed at Atlantis once. My room was nowhere near as nice as yours at Comfort Suites. 😆 Also, if you use a Neo Financial credit card to book with Choice Hotels, they have a pretty decent cashback deal with them. 🙂

I went there on a cruise and paid a few extra bucks to use Atlantis amenities.

If you are on a cruise and the Atlantis excursion sales out can you book a room for the day and take a shuttle to paradise island?

Where would you recommend for budget eating? I read it’s pricy at Atlantis.

I believe Atlantis is affiliated with Caesar's so if your Platinum and above I think you get free nights or a super discounted rate. Doesn't look very packed...NICE!

I have been going to Nassau yearly for 17 years and I won't stay at Paradise Island. Cable Beach is a better vibe and the Locals and to experience the true Bahamas. Paradise Island is way too commercialized and nothing like the real Bahamas. I rarely visit there anymore and the place is so expensive compared to going to Fish Fry and eating in Nassau with the Locals. My least favorite place in all the islands of Bahamas is Paradise Island. People on a budget should stay in Nassau.

I tried This comfort inn but once I stayed at Atlantis I would never go back. It was really not that big of a price difference.

Please explain: when you book with the comfort suites they give you a wrist band so you can access the other resort for free? Normally if you're not staying there you need to pay to access the waterslides/ beaches etc.

@@SayHiToMatthew I agree with Tloc103. I would of stayed at the Travelodge or Motel 6 instead. I don’t care if I would of had to pay for all 4 nights. I draw my line at Comfort Suites. It’s all because of an incident in 1996. It was brutal. I almost lost my wife because of it and I haven’t even met her yet.

Really enjoyed this! Great video. Loved that big fish when you were snorkeling! I have a friend going to Atlantis in November he should switch to Comfort Suites.
