I like the look of this keychain. This video is missing some key information. For my first try, I used 48" (4 foot) lengths of cord, but then the key is to attach each cord to the ring at about the one quarter point (i.e. hold about 12" fixed to the other end of the jig, then keep about 36" for your working end.) Doing it this way gave me a keychain a bit over 4" long (weave... not including tails). Hope this helps.

Hello once the keychain is made you can cut and melt the paracord ends to finish the project.

Would have appreciated more demonstration of the knot going down. Thanks though.

If you use 4 feet for each it should be fine I think

Nice knot. I like tying chord but the guitar player needs to learn a few more chords

I hate this knot! I'm copying it but it's not turning out right 😢 I wish you recorded yourself going all the way down instead of doing two and saying repeat the steps as I can't remember which side to go from and it's just a mess.
