A talent is about 80 pounds of silver. The master gave His servants money to invest. Meaning Christians are called to do works. Works here are Jesus' commandments like bring people close God. Pray for living and dead people and love one another. I think not all everybody understand this parable but this is Catholic teaching.

Hey, don't know if you are referring to what I posted, but here's an example: Let's say I feel like God is leading me to have my own ministry of healing, but instead I'm helping in teaching in kids ministry about the bible. So I would, pray for God to lead me, read my bible, and fast for God to use me so the kids could understand, research things to teach the kids, plan out a lesson, print out stuff to engage them with the lesson, making sure that they understand what they are being taught and etc. So I am giving them my 101% ! I am working like if I already have that healing ministry! It's like if a kid wants a puppy, it seems fun, but it's a lot of work. So to test if the kid would be responsible, you gave them a pet rock. A pet rock doesn't seem like much, but your only testing to.see if the kid would treat the rock well. So you can increase the responsibility, by giving them a puppy Hope that makes sense, be bless.

The parable of the talents is about faith in Christ. Those who believe & put their faith in Christ and increase their Fruits (faith, love, meekness, patience etc) will be gifted the kingdom of heaven. It has nothing to do with works or your carpentry business. It all leads to faith in Christ, and inheriting the kingdom of heaven.

When they will ask us the reason behind our academic success we can introduce Jesus to them thereby share the Gospel and a soul will be saved. This will glorify God. Moreover God loves our progress and success so He is glorified in any way. Seek His help and the guidance nd teachings of the Holy Spirit. Glory to God.

God bless you! By the sound of your text, I can sense the Holy Ghost is convicting you- My question for you: What do you think? Do you think what you hear or watch has an effect on you? What you listen to or watch could have effect on your mind…rather positively or negatively. Most times, we make judgments based on the norm, what’s right in our society today. However, what’s right in our society today might not be right with God no matter how normal and accepting it might be. Examples: sex before marriage, swearing/cussing, drinking alcohol, etc… Ask yourself: “Would Jesus approve?” I pray the Lord guides you and strengthens you on your walk with Christ. - “Do not be deceived: “Bad company ruins good morals.” (1 Corinthians 15:33) “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect-“ (Romans 12:2) “Abstain from every form of evil.” (1 Thessalonians 5:22)

Jesus should put my name in the ear of someone who will change my life. God should put my name in the ear of someone who will change my life. My name should be put in the ear of someone who will change my life. If a person is going to waste another person's life, he or she, including me, should not go into that other person's life. Everyone who says something to me should party with me at Miami Beach. No one should take my being alive for granted. Americans should be ashamed of themselves when other people from other countries decide to go back to their previous country to raise their own children. A teacher should be called a failure if he has allowed any of his students to fail. All the people who love me should prosper. I should not think that I am a sluggard. I should not feel like a sluggard. I should not look like a sluggard. I should not hear the word sluggard. I should not be called a sluggard. No one should think that I am a sluggard. I should not blow it. No adult should do what he or she told a child not to do. I am not a loser, and I shouldn’t be treated like I should be one. I am not an idiot, and I shouldn’t be treated like I should be one. I should not study more and/or read more to prove anything to anyone. God heard me, and I should just be patient. I should not party with people with whom I don't feel comfortable. I should not party with people who I should not party with. No one who I have been good to should screw me over. I should become all that I am meant to be. All ravens should be starved. All doves should be fed. No person should speak to me in any language that I don't understand. No person should use their, his, and/or her language to get me. There are no restrooms and/or other things, as there should be none, for the people who prevent certain people from using them when God gave those certain people permission to use them before any person had a say. God should triple my income. I should become all that I am perfect for, which would make me great. I should be considered notable. I should be notable. None of my dreams should be hard for me to achieve. Jesus and God will make a way for me to be in a lot of movies and TV series shown on IMDb, because both of them should. Jesus and God will make a way for me to finish everything that I have started instead of doing something else instead of what I started, because both of them should. Jesus and God will make a way for me to be a model in magazines and on magazine covers, because both of them should. It should not be everyone but me who is blessed. I should not live with the bad things that people did to me and I should not especially see them get away with it. Amen.

I don’t understand why god won’t give us any ownership, like I hear everything belongs to god, do all for god. Hey, I thought god was complete within himself, why the hell should we serve him then? He can get whatever he wants by magic, it’s pathetic, really, the fact that we have to do everything for god because he wants it, makes him a selfish egotistical god. And don’t you guys dare even come up with “How can you say god is selfish, he sent jesus to die on the cross so that we can have eternal life”!

)Were Moses and his Gods atrocities as bad as Hitler’s? Let’s start with the God, Moses relationship. "(Numbers 12-6) When the prophet of the lord is among you. I reveal myself to him in vision; I speak to him in dreams. But this is not true of my servant Moses he is faithful in all my house. With him I speak face to face clearly and not in riddles, he sees the form of the lord" Would you agree then that when Moses gave orders it was directly from his God or approved by him? As he according to the bible the only person that saw his God in flesh. King James Version Numbers 31:17-18 “17 Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him /18 But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves" This just show how discussing Christians are by trying to change verses to deceive people. Now the real bible verse. "17) Now kill all the boys, and kill every woman who has slept with a man. (But verse 18 is more alarming 18) “but save for yourself every girl who has never slept with a man” These instructions of verses came directly from Moses meaning it’s also directly from his God, also the entire bible never mention the age before you could have sex with a girl. Let’s move to the future of a captive girl, whose parents were just killed by her captives, let’s see what Moses and his God got installed for her. Deuteronomy 21:11-1311 If you notice among the captives a beautiful woman and are attracted to her, you may take her as your wife. 12 Bring her into your home and have her shave her head, trim her nails 13 and put aside the clothes she was wearing when captured. After she has lived in your house and mourned her father and mother for a full month, then you may go to her and be her husband and she shall be your wife. 14 If you are not pleased with her, let her go wherever she wishes. You must not sell her or treat her as a slave, since you have dishonored her. In today's laws that will be rape. And then Christians believe this is a God of love and our creator.

And you see among the captives a beautiful woman, and desire her: In the ancient world, it was not uncommon for a man to take a wife from among the captives, especially if she was a beautiful woman. Yet obviously, this was open to great abuse, so God give specific guidelines to govern this practice in Israel. b. Shave her head and trim her nails: First, the captive woman had to be purified and humbled. This denoted a complete break with her past, and the willingness to start anew, humbly as a child. c. Put off the clothes of her captivity, remain in your house: Second, the captive woman had to show a change of allegiance. This showed that the captive woman no longer regarded her former nation and her former family; now she was a citizen of Israel. d. Mourn her father and mother a full month: Third, the captive woman had to mourn her past associations. This would be time when she could resolve issues in her heart regarding her family, and when her husband-to-be could live with her a month without intimate relations - so he could see if he really wanted to take this woman as a wife, and to make sure he was not making a decision based only of physical appearance or attractiveness. e. You certainly shall not sell her for money; you shall not treat her brutally: After the month of mourning, the potential husband was free to marry the captive woman - yet, he did not have to. But if he decided not to, he had to set her free with dignity.
