We don't even do anything about their insolence. We're just as stupid as they are, if not, we're more stupid than they are because they easily take advantage of most of us. Look around you. People are easily pleased by some campaigners running around in their land cruisers blasting music. Ol lain sa saikup nating lo music na vote nating nating. I've witnessed a lot of that happening with people. Not that specifically, I mean they generally do not put much thought into voting. Don't pretend like we're on par with nations like Australia and The US. Too much PNG pride to see the truth. The vast majority of us are uneducated or under-educated compared to other countries close to us, and sadly for us, in a democracy the majority gets the vote. We get shitty leaders because of the majority of us who don't know any better and vote for them. A democracy works best in a well educated country, which is probably why those clowns in the big house won't properly fund the schools. We need to start with us, we pick the leaders.
