I love your alternative cards. Both yesterday and today they seemed very complicated but your step-by-step instructions make me feel like I can do this. I can’t believe how you can figure out all the measurements of the mechanism. You are amazing!

Thank you so much! I think almost any card is do-able when you break it down into manageable steps, and I love to try to do that!
I agree with all the comments from your viewers. It's really amazing!

Thank you so much! Also, this reminded me of your nemesis-the large butterfly pop-up 🤣. One thing to check and make sure is that the adhesive goes all the way to the crease, or else it won’t pop/flutter effectively

It reminded me of the big butterfly pop up too! I never could get the video to upload so you could help me troubleshoot. I’ll check the adhesive.
Amazing card! Your creative techniques are always awesome! Thanks, Vy!

Did I miss what you used the 3x4 piece of basic white for. This is an unique interactive card.

Thank you so much! It covers up the back of the panel that pulls out. It helps protect the piece of window sheet that supports the caterpillar
This is an awesome card Vy, thanks for sharing it! It took a minute to do, but your videos are always so clear and precise so it really isn’t hard at all 😀 I do have a question though, the basic white card stock piece, that measured 2 15/16” x 3 7/8”, did you use it on your card? I still have that piece left, but my card works so I’m not sure where it would have been used! 🤔

I’m so happy you like it! I somehow left out that segment of the video, but it covers the back of the panel that pulls out. It helps to protect the window sheet strip that the caterpillar sits on.
This idea is perfect for this kit. I plan on giving it a try since it doesn't seem too difficult. Do you have other cards using this technique?

Yes, I made one last year that uses the same type of mechanism. I used cardstock instead of cellophane for the rolling piece, but they’re interchangeable kzread.info/dash/bejne/pJpml8GklrXNf6w.html

@@crafting.dailydose thank you. Love that one, too.
I made my card and it is working fine, but I find I never used the 2 15/16” X 3 7/8” piece of white cardstock that was listed in the materials at the beginning of the video. Did I miss something?

I may have left out that scene when I was editing the video 🤦🏻♀️. It covers the back of the part that pulls out, to neaten it and hide the window sheet strip if you attached it in a position that shows when the piece is pulled out

Thanks, Vy. Luckily it’s easy to add it after the card has been completed.
