My daddy was a papermaker most of my life. I grew up around the men an equipment of publisher's #3 newsprint machine in Oregon. Great memories for me.

Found this very rewarding as I worked in a Bindery making catalogs , hard bound and stitched catalogs for 34 years , at times had opportunities to work in press room as well , we all were the best out there , QuadGraphics 😎

Some old machinery there, not to mention the rows of cylinders heated by gas flame. "If it's not broke don't fix it" comes to mind.

Pretty scary. No hearing or eye protection. No guards on pump drives or roll nips. No hoods on dryers. But …. They are wearing masks !

This is a very old paper mill with little safety equipment. A modern recycled paper mill that can produce about 1500 tons of paper/ day may cost about $600,000,000 to start up today in the US.

Very old equipment. OSHA would have fun giving out fines in this mill.

For the first time I see a pressure cooker that heats and dries paper. It works with fire and not steam as is usual in paper mills. Also, the speed of the machine seems weak, unlike advanced machines that reach 1000 meters per minute. By the way, daily production in one of the Kenitra factories in the Kingdom of Morocco reached 500 tons per day.

we run 4000+ FPM which is over 1200 meters pet minute with a 300-330 inch sheet on Kraft Bag and liner

What is the cost required to set up a paper mill? Whom to contact?? What are the requirement of place, land etc?

There used to be a paper mill like this where I live here in Selby UK ,it closed about Twenty Years ago and the Mill was Dismantled and Transported to Poland to be rebuilt there ,we still have corrugated container Manufacturing tho in Town .📦👍

It depends on the thickness of the paper. Thicker is always slower.

백수 상태를 보니 약품은 거의 안쓰는거같고 ...공정 보아하니 우리나라 80년대 공정이고,.,,지절 엄청 나겠고...제품 강도는 물론 절대 안나오겠고...참.. 나라에 특성이 보인다 ...스피드를 졸라게 낮게 가도 지절 개긋이 날 공정이네...동영상으로 잠깐 보지만 손을봐야 할곳이 한두군대가 아니다. 살다가 싸이폰 뚤린 실린더는 첨보네 ㅋ ㅋ

the working speed are depend on the paper thickness and produce capacity per day, for kraft paper line, the working speed normally between 30~100m/min😀@@subairkc6875

I did water treatment at a papermill in the US and we took water from the river and returned it back cleaner than when we took it out .
