Was wondering because it looks so wasteful and why not just originally cut the papers in different sizes instead of wasting them

I used to do all these things. I worked in a diecut factory and run the flatbed presses. I loved this type of environment. Things haven't change much from 20 years ago. The place were I worked was huge. We had gluers doing every kind of packaging. I loved watching this! This brought back good memories. I used to run a 4 colour press back in the day. Not very many woman in the profession back then
