This week I'm doing a modern-day mixed media art version of the model from Vermeer's painting in my favorite Art Journal, inspired by one of MY favorite KZread channels (Royalty Now Studios), and she's GORGEOUS!
And huge thanks to Becca from Royalty Now Studios for granting me permission to use her modern interpretation for today's video (and this video specifically: • 10 Historical Figures ... for showing me the modern day "Girl with the Pearl Earring" that I'm basing today's project on).

This turned out great! I am looking forward to time so I can do the drawing of the girl. I cannot imagine why mean people feel the need to say such ridiculous things - well, I guess because they are mean! Hahaha. I think so many people have an extremely narrow idea of art snd creating. Now I feel the urge to go buy that art journal and try some new things I have never done before! I am also really feeling the urge to do cat studies and other animals. I like the idea of taking historical figures and recreating. I have always wanted to do girl with the pearl earring. I have so many stacks of art museum books with art I want to draw!
