TBF this and super are the only ones that ACTUALLY kill the main partner off. In Sticker Star, Kersti is used at the weapon to beat Bowser, she comes back afterwards. Same thing happens to Huey but doesn't "die", he just goes back to the paint fountain.

Why do they leave us? I'm fine with Kersti and Huey kicking the bucket (literally with Huey) but Olivia? She actually has character! Charm! Love! And to never be seen again so "things can start off fresh." I honestly just want Olly and Olivia to have their own kingdom together like they planned...

Here's something you should know. Tippi and Olivia are dead, but if you were to get 100% completion on paper Mario color splash, there would be an extra cutscene that implies that huey is still alive. In sticker star, kersti dies, but is bought back to life.

The paper Mario franchise just knows how to make everyone who's a fan cry It makes the fans who don't like the new games cry because the games changed since the ones they played as kids And it knows how to make the fans who do enjoy the new games because they kill off our partner characters or atleast let us think they killed in Kersti and Huey's case

I don't think Olly being the final boss is really that big of a twist.

I wished the game would make Olivia go in the sky and said your welcome and just explode into little origami shreds

Uh yeah bad news. Olivia dies when she makes the wish because everything illy ever did never happened. So, olly is still alive BUT Olivia is gone

I think the final phase is just too easy I took like 2 years to beat this game I took way too long but I love how king olly said “well your finally here took you long enough” because I took so long to beat the game but my dad is the one who normally plays it for the walk through but now I play it even though I’m 9 years old
