It is just the right technology. The repairs of the machines seem to be very easy. There is no unnecessary electronics just camshafts. These machines, although somewhat primitive, have created an ecosystem from which at least ten people earns money.

Thank you. People need to work. Machines should serve...not the other way around.

Many years ago we were working on plastic cones. Yes plastic is more expensive than paper, however a high volume setup would not require any humans. Not sure what ever happened to it. I was on the engineering side not sales.

Another best approach to go for 'production'. The peanut oil milk was my first video of this type givng production of 6 tend per day. This reminds me 'Channa jour garam' eating in newspaper cone readily made by the periwala. These are usrd for the threads cones, I guess.

Company should spend 15 minutes in each shift to clean machines and floor. A vacuum cleaner is not that expensive. Regards

Cones with string or yarn can be de-coiled without the need for the spool to spin. The string is simply pulled straight up from the smaller end.

I see a number of inefficiencies here. biggest one being the separate roll stamping machine and cone trimming machine. that should be combined into a single step, or simply omit the decorative stamping, its unnecessary for a utility item. also, you probably need 2 stations for the machine making the cones. the woman running the paper through the glue applicator was idle holding a glued piece for roughly half the time. with 2 stations there would be no lost time and double the output of cones.

Appropriate technology. Labor is extremely cheap. The machines are grossly over-built, so they will likely never need expensive and hard-to-find repair parts. The capital investment in more sophisticated machines could not be justified on the basis of reduced labor cost, and the maintenance cost and downtime risk would kill any proposal for upgrading. Judge a technology by its economic context.
