This is brilliant! I have one of those brick makers, and you've solved all the problems with these gadgets. When I squeeze the water out, the bottom screen wants to pop out, but the steel bar you have under it to prevents that. I sit on a short stool with the mold the ground. You've brought it up to a comfortable height. And because you have it mounted on a wall it makes it easier to pull out the brick, as opposed to me using my toes to hold the mold while I pull out the brick. Bravo!!!

Thanks so much, I bought one of those briquette makers - it wasn't easy to use. Your system is just perfect and achievable. Having it on the wall... Brilliant! I can not complement your work enough. Incidentally to make life easier, I use magnets to hold the press of my can crusher in the upright position.

Only thing I can oppose with that idea is maybe instead of replacing the chain, is to just add a magnet to it and keep the chain. So the magnet can hold it between uses but store it with the chain on. Magnets are great and can be hidden quite well but it has to be weak enough to be easy to pull down, but strong enough to hold it up - which leads to risks of having it accidentally swing down. Having the chain there for hold it up when not in use would be the same as having the safety on with a weapon.

To be honest, this looks a good idea but is NOT. ;) Recycling paper this way will cost more trees to be cut down to make new paper. It takes much more energy to make new paper from trees then from old paper. BUT much worse is the fact that you burn all the ink that is on the paper. This is not so ECO. But if you're looking for a perfect way to evaporate chemicals into the air. This is the way to do it.

Paul are these on Ebay? Thanks
How much paper does it take per brick? I'm interested in getting one.
Hi, we live in the US, how much would the postage be. Was just wondering to weigh our options.

hi. the mix is just paper mix in water to a pulp and compressed the design of the machine does the rest. you must have good drainage and leverage or your machine wont work. hope this is of some help to you best regards john.
Paul, love this system but have been unable to locate on ebay. Is it still offered? If so what is the item number? Or can I order directly from you?

Hi John Sorry we no longer make these brackets as there was very little call for them. We do make complete briquette makers - a free stander, a table topper and a wall mount version. Regards John

@superstorm6350

what this is showing is a standard cross handled cheap briquette maker. with a add on lever system. the flappy arms are what was use before. to compress the pulp. and it was lot harder to operate. thus we designed this system.

I’ve been able to make a far more powerful press than this, but built on the same principle for a mere £30
