stephanejacquessoamimabial j'allais à fougamou pour revoir la famille de mon initiation; hébergée chez quelqu'un qui vivait à Lambaréné mais avait une maison à mouila; j'ai été très très choquée de voir 2 pygmés à genoux lorsqu'il mangeait; lorsqu'il a rejoint sa chambre, je leur ai demandé pourquoi ils ne mangeaient pas avec nous! ils m'ont répondu qu'ils ne mangeaient que les restes du " maître"! je leur ai dit " quoi, vous si puissants, les pygmés, vous qui connaissez si bien la forêt et les plantes, ne restez pas ainsi, esclaves, fuyez, fuyez, retournez dans la forêt! j'interdisais à mes élèves de mépriser les pygmés, leur expliquais qui ils étaient! j'espère que depuis, les choses ont changé!

I have seen how they tune it. It is without tools, just sound. I know 2 people who teach the ngombi, Bokaye and Bossengue. At www.mamaAline.com they can help you get in contact with others
Can somebody tell me how his Ngombi is tuned? Or somebody can even decipher the basic pattern of each hand when he starts to play?
