O papagaio-verdadeiro ou "loro" como é chamado, é muito fácil de ser avistado no Mato Grosso do Sul, em casais ou voando em bandos, sempre fazendo muito barulho.
Nesse vídeo consegui registrar ele comendo sementes, em uma árvore chamada leucena, no fundo de casa.
Os papagaios são conhecidos por terem facilidade em aprender a falar, na verdade devido ao formato arredondado de sua linguá eles conseguem reproduzir alguns sons idênticos aos dos seres humanos. Mas devido a isso e serem tão belos, acabaram sendo alvo do tráfico de animais silvestres para domesticação, e entraram para lista de animais ameaçados de extinção.

BLUE-FRONTED PARROT
The true parrot or "loro" as it is called, is very easy to be seen in the estate of Mato Grosso do Sul, in Brazil, in couples or flying in flocks, always making a lot of noise.
In this video I managed to record him eating seeds, in a tree called "leucena", in the back of my house.
Parrots are known for being easy to learn to speak, in fact due to the rounded shape of their language they can reproduce some sounds identical to those of humans. But because of that and being so beautiful, they ended up being the target of trafficking wild animals for domestication, and entered the list of animals threatened with extinction.
