I agree about the labels---the contents of my boxes change too often. Those pull-out shelves are a game-changer! They up the functionality 10x. And those containers make everything so pretty.

I miss that pantry! We are actually working on a new house with no real pantry! Need to build a wall in the mechanical room and section of some space for food storage!!

Your pantry organization was such great help! Loved the shopkins idea I have 2 kiddos and I bet hot wheels and shopkins would be amazing. Keep up the great vidoes!!

I need to work on organizing our closet, it's been an ongoing project. I purged a lot of clothes and donated them. It's just the organizing part that I need to do 😊

I totally understand, it takes so much energy to actually sort through things, that the organizing part often get put on hold (at least for me!!). But, I have found that when organizing part is done, you really get the joy out of all the work you’ve done! To really see the fruits of all your labors!!

We use those type of containers in our pullout pantry too. They are so handy! I didn't label mine either. The contents of some of the containers is always changing. I had to laugh with your jar of shopkins because I've got a jar of Kinder Surprise Eggs for this very reason! 😂

+Colleen Pastoor thanks Colleen! I'm surprised how having this clear containers that all match just simplify the look of the pantry! I really love it!

So many people put their cereal in containers which I admit looks very unified. But I buy large boxes because it works out cheaper and there's usually too much to fit in containers, so what does everyone do with the excess which is left in the box. I'm not being negative I would really like to know what others do.

Sheila Spencer we have extra cereal sometimes because sometimes I buy the bagged stuff or I buy the boxes at Costco... however, I have a food storage closet in my basement so that's where the extra goes I realize that's not an option for everybody so maybe when it comes to organizing cereal, it is less useful to use the pretty boxes... I think it's just a personal thing and it depends on the space you have elsewhere for excess food storage.

I only have a small kitchen in a small house so no room elsewhere to store the extra cereal. I do think they look nice though and my sister-in-law always stores her cereal like this.

It took some digging but, are these the Maximera drawers from IKEA?

That is exactly what they are. Except I bought my bought my cabinets at Ikea right before the updated the whole line of cabinets. So mine are technically the old version of their kitchen cabinet pull our shelves, which they don't sell anymore. However i do have the new ones in my office cabinets and they are just as wonderful and a little prettier looking. Do this containers keep flour fresh?

Just answered over on the other video, but for those over here: Hey Joshua! So flours have a lot of natural oils, and the best way to preserve them over time is to keep them in your freezer. I might have edited it out, but a lot of the items that I don’t use often, I keep in my freezer. These containers seem pretty airtight, maybe like 98% but the issue with flour is them keeping it at room temperature. Hope that helps!

did you mention how much the containers cost?

+Justin & Jasmin JJ-Lifestyle I didn't mostly because I'm not sure it's the same in every area or region but it was about $20 for a box of three different sizes. I can't remember how much the cereal size box was but they are really affordable compared to other brands!
