Thank you so much for your videos!!! I am so happy I found you about 6 months ago and been watching your older videos. Enjoy them so much. Put the lemonade mix in your prepper pantry. 😊 I love watching how big Winston is getting. I did my Master thesis in 1982 on the effects of food dyes on children 's behavior. I was a teacher for 28 years and definitely saw the effects of food dyes on my students. By the way, I love how you allow Winston to cook his own breakfast!!! He could become a chef with your influence!!!! Please continue to give us these longer videos!!! I enjoy watching them so much. I love your new glasses!!! You can see how beautiful you are, inside and out!!!

Learning to not buy so much when I'm now only cooking for 2 instead of 6 like I used too is the biggest adjustment ever. Smaller portions of things I used to make double of has been real tricky. Some nights it's salad for me and a sandwich for my hubby😮 not full heavy meals..what they do t teach you about when kids are all grown😢

The Pandemic made me conscious of food security. Being a paycheck to paycheck household we went without food sometimes because there was nothing in the store. So I started doing this: homemade convenience. It helped me rediscover how much I love being in the kitchen again.

For buying local honey check at your farmers market, we have 3 or 4 different local people who sell honey from their own bees. Another place to ask about local honey would be at your local agriculture dept or even through 4H someone might be doing bee keeping

Loved the video. You are a smart young lady. For years I tried to be Ma on Little House on the Prarie and take care of 3 kids and work full time as a nurse. Needless to say I was failing at all of them until a friend of mine said quit comparing yourself to others. That was really eye opening for me. My children are grown, my husband passed away and I am retired, so my life is drastically different now. Your bread always looks so good to me. I am low carb and can't eat bread but I still love it. My mouth waters when you make it. Keep up the good work Tamara. You are doing a great job and are such an inspiration to so many of us. Bless your sweet family.

I sure appreciate your extensive food tour. You’re so right that we must adjust our pantries according to what we eat and our family size. My husband and I are in our early 70’s and it’s just us at home. I try to keep some items for the grandkids to have when they come over, but otherwise, our pantry is not nearly as extensive as yours. We have a problem with storage space--we have no basement or no extra bedroom to use for storage. So things are shoved wherever we can find a spot! QUESTION: do you make your dog’s food yourself? I’ve begun to read where the dry kibble bits are not that healthy as a steady diet. I love that corner cabinet you have with the lazy susan. What a space saver! Thanks again for an informative video! ❤-Brenda

Your swaps over time are fantastic. Little changes here & there are great bc it's nothing major or drastic. Yeah, you'll have some absolute nopes 😂. My husband will only eat certain brands of things as well. Kids prefer the taco seasoning packets over homemade. My one daughter will only use pizza sauce from Walmart. I've learned to pick my battles lol.

I strive to do what you say, make what you can from scratch, but there are other people in the house that still want their favs. Happy for you. Plus- if there happens to be a major shortage on foods the government can come in and take what you have to share with others. I'd find a place to hide a lot of those goods if it happens. Just saying. 😊

Making a change to healthy things, its a lot, because food is a big part of how one feels, but it can affect your behaviour which was definitely shown in the movie Super Size Me, but it causes many health problems, like obesity, cancers, diabetes, heart disease, and so much more. Once you start you want to move on to other things in your life like body products, reading and looking up side effects to those ingredients are scary, then you have your house hold cleaners, those are a big thing because our clothes touch our skin all day and those chemicals get directly into our bloodstream, then we have our cookware and dishes and utensils, non stick give off harmful chemicals. People who have birds can’t cook using non stick near the bird or the fumes will kill the bird. There really is so much to consider, but it’s not something you can change over night it’s a lot. I’ve been making changes slowly, and one day I’ll get there. Lots of those holes 🕳️ but is good to look into things and question things, there is no harm in it, it certainly will leave you with less regrets in the future. I agree, don’t throw things out even though it’s not healthy like your home cooking. You never know what life will bring, so yeah, never throw away food.
