I got to give it to Phil , Rex, and Zakk and Charlie for helping them bring this to the masses, I think we all understand this isn’t actually Pantera but they are definitely bringing a top notch production and show to the table, and Phil sounds as good as he possibly can at this point in his life, I , myself, actually appreciate and love this

Why can’t this be considered the “real” Pantera? Because it lacks two important members? AC/DC has only one founding member left. Judas Priest and Lynyrd Skynyrd have zero original members - everyone accepts that for what it is - yet for some reason Pantera gets held to a different standard. Sure, I miss Dime and Vinnie too, but this is a great continuation of their legacy

It started when Phil wouldn’t show up for over a year for a handful of reasons etc… The brothers moved on with a new project called DamagePlan. They could’ve easily kept it as PanterA with Bobzilla & Pat on Vox. Only one problem, PanterA is Vince, Phil, Rex & Dime. They had a great 13 years together & it ended. I get why they are doing this, but to call it PanterA is to spit in the face of Vinny Abbott. Where’s the respect? Call it friends of PanterA etc whatever but to call it PanterA is just plain wrong.

Same dude, I was in budapest on the second day, one of the craziest shows I witnessed

I really love how Charlie and Zakk are holding true to to the sounds and tones of the Abbot brothers. Great hearing these songs live again and I think its a great tribute to 2 timeless muscians. Phil's voice still sounds great. I have the privilege of seeing them live 3 times in th 90s and got to meet them once. They were great with us fans and hung out with us for about an hour after the show. Dime had his video camera out recording then gave it to a fan to record him going around giving people handshakes and hugs, thanking them for coming to the show. I beleive he hugged me 3 times. Phil talked to everyone, Vinnie was exhausted and just hung out for a short time. Rex let me and my buddies check out their tour bus. Dime stayed out with us until the bus was actually rolling away and Phil was yelling out the window "come on Dime we gotta go". What a memorable time with an awesome band.

Phil sounds the best he has since the mid 90's.

As they play more, it’s getting tighter. This is an amazing tribute to their fallen brothers. I’m lucky I saw Pantera 5 times. This is an amazing performance and can’t wait to see them in August.

Those must be amazing memories. I wasn't even 10 years old when they played their last show so this is the closest thing for me to witness them, even if it's just a tribute. I saw them last night in Stuttgart and it was a blast to say the least.

@@IsoSubject5 Awesome memories. The first time I saw them was when they opened for Sabbath and they blew the roof off of the place. They also made an arena feel like a club. Before they came on you could see Dime warming up doing shots and then totally engaging the crowd who saw him. Phil worked the room beautifully and was passing drinks to the security guards up front. They were a force to be reckoned with.

Phil sounds amazing. That crowd is awesome too

Pantera is Back... Vinnie and Dime are Eternal.

Throughout the 90s Pantera was my life. Their music along with a few other bands were the soundtrack to my sr. year of high school and after. I was lucky enough to see them 9 times and I will be seeing this show later this summer. No death hit me harder than Dime's. Having Charlie on drums is great. Anthrax was the 1st band that really got me into metal around 1986. The emotions will be running high and the beer will be flowing.

The boys are sounding tight now 🤘

Same the feeling of unity at those shows was unmatched.

Phil has led the industry with his vocals for a long time, but always had drama follow him for whatever reason and things get screwed up. Especially in a new world where everyone gets butthurt over anything we say. I will always have nothing but admiration for him and everything Pantera has done. I wont get into how Amazing Zakk is Thanks yall for doing this tour

Pantera for life with the brothers. Been a huge fan since the spandex days (Pussy Tight 88). CFH put the genre on its skull in 90'. Nuff said.....now 2023 and a new generation gets to experience a grand tribute to the Abbott brothers with this ensemble, thank you Rex and Phil. Now, come August 29th @ the USANA Amphitheatre, on a personal note, I hit the muthafuckin' concert lottery as a 63 year old grizzled biker with my "go to" present day band Lamb of God opening for my all time FOREVER favorite band Pantera. Can not wait.

I am so happy right now. I get the mixture of both huge music inspirations. Dimebag and Wylde. ANd this sounds fucking heavy as fuck. Love it. Zakk really did the work and made sure he had somewhat of Dime's tone.

Farken amazing. Zak plays fantastic and puts his own feel on it. Rex just flawless, drummer nails it and Phil is simply on form, he's sounds 110% Awesome job guys . Much luv.

Great video. So happy that Phil, Rex, Zakk and Charlie are doing this. I hope to see them when they come around my area. Their playing is fantastic. Phil sounds great. You can tell he's taking better care of himself. Zakk and Charlie were the only choice for this band and tour. I believe Dime and Vinny wouldn't of had it any other way. Having said all that, this video is the first complete concert of this version of Pantera I've watched and I must say it made me miss Dime and Vince that much more. Those guys were one of a kind. That's all I got to say about that. It's just shitty and I miss em.

Phil is on fucking fire! I truly believe 100% he is putting everything he has into this as a final send off to Dime and Vinnie! In life they had their differences but as time moves on, the families have entrusted Phil/Rex on this and they is NOT disappointing! Every single time I hear him spit "Got shit on, pissed on, spit on, stepped on, fucked with Pointed at by lesser men" followed by "let me hear you!" = goosebumps and teary eyed! I am so glad to have seen Pantera many times through the 90's. If ever there was going to be a tribute, this is it! \m/ I have to say Charlie deserves a millions salutes, his respect for Vinnie is so goddamn immense and he has locked Vinnie down damn near 100%! Respect!
