my mother doesn't listen to any rock at all but she was like "What is this killer sound ? " when she passed by the screen when I was watching the breakdown. Dime was a true genius that could bring everyone together. Getcha a pull , mate !!

I'm at the stage now where I only watch reactions to Domination to see if there's anyone who doesn't nod their head when the breakdown comes in.

No shit, I saw them at Giants stadium, I think it was 97 ozzfest. Bout 60,000+ and that was an all out riot when Pantera came on. All hell broke loose. I can't imagine a million and a half person pit. Can you imagine how thirsty you'd be. Hell just small shows and I'm dieing after an hour or so of stomping around. Oh it's the little things in life haha.

Yes, RIP Dimebag and Vinnie, but also RIP to the *53 people* who died at this show ...holy shit.

He started winning guitar contests in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area when he was 14. Eventually, he had won so many that they asked him not to compete anymore, so he became a judge for them. All of that was even before Pantera got together.

He didn't enter a contest until Dean Guitars hosted one at the Agora Ballroom in Dallas when he was 14. He was around 17-18 when he started judging, because he had won every year since his first. I knew the guys.

i have in my lifetime had the pleasure to see this band 8 times, every single time they kicked ass live..

I live in the area near where Dime (guitarist) and his brother Vinnie (drummer) lived. 2 of the nicest guys you could meet. First time I met them I was in an older band in the early 2000's playing a show in Ft. Worth and while we were playing Dime came up in front of me and started tossing jello shots up at me laughing his ass off. Great memories of those two. They are truly missed!

@@EyeSoulband yea met them in the mid to late 80's doing the club scene in Texas. When I first met them they had the original singer Terry Glaze, but when they recruited Phil, their image, and especially their sound changed for the better. Even after they made it big, Dimebag and Vinnie would still come to the smalltime clubs to watch everybody perform, and give us pep talks about the buainess and drink with us. They stayed humble even when they hit the big time.

Lots of folks came out!! They were excited 😜 I don’t care 🤷🏾‍♀️ for that music 🎶 but y’all reaction was fun and I saw y’all got into it too lol 😂 very cool 😎 Happy Hump Day

I remember when pantera first came out. I was in high-school. And I've never heard anything like it. Because I was brought up on country music and my friends introduced me to this new wild music.

Holy hell that was the definition off Dominate!!

this was and still is one of the biggest concerts in history. i think it had just under 2 million people there.

love seeing how many new pantera fans are popping up now 👍 they are, more and more so, becoming legends (and deservedly)

RIP Dimebag Darrell and Vinnie! PanterA - Floods live or studio, to me are both damn good. but I like to see dimebag do his thing on the guitar... and PanterA -cemetary gates!

I love watching my black US cousins reacting to metal. I can see a time soon when black metal bands will start making great music. Please do Holy Wars by Megadeth studio version and then Master of Puppets by Metallica. Love from Australia.

Black metalheads are already kicking ass! There have been and still are several great metal bands out there with one or more black musicians. Body Count, Sevendust, Killswitch Engage, Skindred, Fire From the Gods, Animals as Leaders just to name a few.

Love the looks on people's faces when Dime hits his squeals. Been a huge fan for 16 years and I still get those WOW looks lol.

She’s adorable and I enjoyed doing the breakdown of her facial reactions. They know good music, they’re good people.

You two just witnessed the KINGS of Power Groove Metal&the best band you could possibly witness live! That particular concert was crazy the police there were beating the crowd with batons for having a good time. I've seen Pantera live 3 times&each time was AMAZING! You 2 should do one on Deftones My own summer (shove it) Another AMAZING band&great video!

Great to see different musical cultures cross over and everybody's cool with the other. It just takes a few uninterrupted minutes to try and "get" the other genre as something special. Very cool guys!

That scream that he did with the guitar are pinch harmonics and dimebag was amazing at those!!

One of if not the greatest metal guitarists of all time and one of the biggest innovators in metal music to date. I love watching Pantera videos just to see him play!

D&T SQUAD Like someone else said here, if you like breakdowns, then "Davidian" from Machine Head and "Dead Embryonic Cells" from Sepultura have some of the best from close to that same time period, '91-'94... You may also want to check out other Pantera (pronounced PAN-tear-uh) tunes, "Walk", "5 Minutes Alone", "Floods", and "I'm Broken" for some metal with great GROOVE...

I think that was the biggest crowd to ever assemble for a concert

Pantera has some pieces where part of the experience is the direction of the sound. Some riffs sound amazing because switches between right and left channel. It kind of adds a new dimension.

When I was 17 I went to my first metal show. I have kept going to shows ever since. I have jumped off stages, ridden the tops of crowds, been in circle pits, and walls of death. This is the same for most metalheads. I am 36 now and it's not stopping. I am going to 2 local shows this weekend.

Over a million people there. 10,000 cops, and soldiers. Many of them ended up joining the crowd to get in on the greatest metal show ever.

Pantera is and was one of the most influential bands in metal. They were what metal is. 25 years later I still do deadlifts to this shit. Power gym music. Both of you made a great video and I commend you for being open and giving credit where its due.. Subbed and liked.
