I always assumed Phil's vocals were at least layered in the guitar harmonic on that note, but always hoped it was a true vocal....I hope the same here. Almost seems super-human!

@@facelessandnameless Problem with the cowboys from hell album is that his voice sounds the same in most songs I think. I'm gonna have to say that I prefer his vocal style in Southern Trendkill but the riffs are fuckin roach class all the way with every single album

If you're just looking for Phil, you should check out the album NOLA by Down. Temptations Wings is my favorite track, but there are tons of great songs on that album. For another Pantera song, I'd pick "This Love" in terms of your voice matching the style.

Pantera was one of my fav's growing up. This song was my Fav of theirs. Rob man, you killed this. While I like the rawness of Phils voice when he first sang this back in the day, you are so much smoother and more powerful.

Decided to look up a cover to see someone hit the end 3 notes. Little did I know I'd see someone absolutely NAIL the entire song. Timbre is incredible. Insane cover.

Amazing voice but Phil is what made pantera sound like pantera, phil had a bad ass voice and I can feel his emotion. No offence but he has a great voice but it sounds way too mainstream and commercial for pantera

Why wasn't there anything this good on GarageBand back in the day? I remember finding 10 Years, Bipolar, and others, but the vocals here blow them away for such a raw recording.
