People go to those to get scared, Phil's just going for ideas and inspiration. He's run his own haunted house, so he knows all the tricks. It's like special effects guys watching gore in films, they're just nerding out about it.

This is exactly what I do on a walk through attraction try and take in all the props and actual work including the actors that goes into the haunt, I'm sure it takes the fun out of it for some people but I've always been that way I really enjoy all the fine details most of the tourists miss because they god damn ran through it will their eyes closed most of the time.

I worked in a factory with an old man that was locked up in there when he was a teenager. He went through hell and back. He was lucky enough to barely survive. The factory we worked at is actually right next door to the prison. I couldn't imagine reliving that every day just to go to work and make a few nickels and dimes.

You definitely want Phil with you in a scary place
