ya I was about 17 first time I ever saw them after my back injury didn't let that stop me from living up my younger teen years tho!!! it was 1993 then good old 90's!!!, and I could not believe it when I was there in person seeing Dime bag with His Camo shorts on when He came out!!! Vinnie was so kick ass on the drums I just kept staring at Him!!! later in my early 20's I saw them live again outdoors battling White Zombie and who do you think won that battle!!! Pantera kicked there ass with sound and style White Zombie had all this stage crap on there stage candles with 666 and all that, as for Pantera had the whole back stage lined full with amps!!! I was standing on my chair to see since everyone else was!!! and snuck in my own joints I was smokin one rite after another!!! went alone always have!!! saw my cuson there tho, everyone but hicks loved Pantera shows!!! I as everyone else didn't know what the future held for Dime and that Band? but they live on!!!!! I'll always remeber seeing Dime in person and there shows!!! and I'm always happy to see these new to me Teens and old fans of Pantera around!!! everyone always tells me they love my Pantera bumper sticker!!!!! Glad to hear you're a new fan to!!! Rock on!!! smoke one for me and Dime!!!

Saw them three times in the early 90's Newport leisure centre south Wales UK. First time supporting Megadeth and it was no competition Pantera 1 Megadeth 0. The second time was the most memorable gig, it was fantastic and the boys touring the vulgar album were so happy and up for it, an amazing night. Third time on far beyond tour Phil was on a "I hate everyone" bender and was wallowing in self pity and that gig was so fucking loud you couldn't tell what song it was! It was still way better than any gigs we get today, fuck it was loud no lie you could feel your face move with sound like G-force🤣🤣great memories and they will not be forgotten, God it was loud AF. 👊

Love PANTERA, I was in a band in the Dallas Ft Worth area while they were huge. I saw Phil going crazy in the bathroom at Dallas City Limits once. He's a crazy fuck. lol. I still can't believe Dime is gone. Some of the best shows I've ever seen.

I wonder if people today would go after Dimebag for having a guitar decorated with the confederate flag... Robb Flynn of Machine Head already disavowed him, sad considering he pretended to care about Dimebag's murder and even wrote a song about it.

It's possible to appreciate someone's genius at the same time as recognising the problems with that flag'. It doesn't have to be one or the other, you know. I was a huge pantera fan back in the day and i still love their music, but they were kinda racist, let's be honest. Maybe the 'new' generation jumps on every little thing, but the 'old' generation lives in denial and will defend the worst shit just because they enjoyed some music. Honestly we all need to grow up and realise that more than one thing can be true at once
