I really liked these contestants. The fact that they perform in their daytime job outfits is so inspiring for some odd reason. They have these amazing voices, and yet it’s something they can’t really embrace everyday. I love that this show lets regular looking but talented people just sing their heart out.

it's sad that korean media doesn't recognize and support much of these kinds of singers, these girls are so talented and yet they probabably wouldn't be able to debut because they don't fit the generic beauty standard... it's not even about the beauty, sometimes good singers going solo are not as recognized as idol groups idk how it is in korea but here in europe , tbh i had to dig to find some amazing singers whi aren't as supported even thi they are amazing ( I'm not saying idol groups aren't amazing, i love so many idols and idol groups , just wish solo singers were more encouraged)

The girl with the hat one, her voice is very awesome...make me goosebumps

The yellow apron girl in the middle totally gave me a goosebumps. Her soul + feels in the song was superb. The other two girls undeniably have a good vocal but i can't really feel the song when they sang it. Thumbs up for the yellow apron girl.

They should’ve debuted, I’m not here to look at unrealistic body standards or anyone’s face. I’m hear to listen to amazing vocals and that is what I got.

I know this is an old video, but just wanted to say that I love seeing Ailee’s reaction to the fans singing her song.. how she’s so humbled and even cried.. 🥺 I’ve seen other duet clips where the idol(s) either just stunned or even laughed before the fans started singing.. 🤷🏻‍♀️ pretty sure because most of these fans don’t look like the typical idols there.. honestly if Korea doesn’t have such high standards on being idols, a lot of “normal” people can be idols too (or at least can audition without being judged due to their weight/looks first).. they don’t all have to be skinny and pretty as a requirement to be idols.. I think talents matter more.. 🤔

The girl in the middle was pretty good vocally, but had no presence, at all. The girl on the right had better tone, better range, and great harmony... not to mention stage presence rivaling left girl. The objectively better contestant won.

Ailee is really good but I think this is a case where the amateurs out did the pro. these 3 girls should team up. I wish much of these singers would tour the US. I haven't been to a concert in a long time but I'd pay to see them.

I agree. But I think the magic of this specific performance is that there are 3 different people singing fragments of the song, (powerful and well performed fragments) and then sing bits together. It was very harmonic that way. Ailee has to sing it on her own and still does a great job. I myself like this version the best (with all respect to Ailee).

Yes, this sounds better than when Ailee did it herself. BUT, it is a group of 3, compared to a soloist. Ailee is known for her good technique and vocal, so to put her under amateurs, that’s kind of disrespectful.

I dont think you understand the format correctly. The highlight is supposed on the 3 amateurs while Ailee only do the opening and adlib here & there & knowing this program, most singer wont able to sing at all after the intro as the amateurs in this program is top notch singer til the singer themsleves speechless. No, the 3 amateurs does not out shone Ailee cause the spotlight is on them. If you really need to see the out shine thing, pls check out the final perfomance where Ailee only choose 1 out of 3 to do a duet w her.

Imagine if they debute as a trio i wouldve listen to everysong. Also this song is a master piece

hearing this still gives me a goosebump all over..they slay it!!!!! They rock it!!! their vocal is even better than those pretty face idol groups nowadays.

The arrangement and this performance was amazing. Ailee has quite a great range so these ladies had a challenge but they rose to it and succeeded.

For me, I really like girl wearing an apron with chicken pictures. Her voice is amazing! I keep repeating her part when she sing a high notes! Plus she has low and high notes perfectly. I wish I could be a singer like them. :)

These ladies are talented and manage to shine in their own style. So much passion and love for music.... Honestly, where do u find singers like that again? Wake up kpop... u sittin on a goldmine and dont even realize it. Always shrinkin artists and their dreams... shapin them into someone they are not. But this right here... this is raw talent and art outside what the kpop music industry is allowed to control. Hopefully these ladies never stop singing and make a name for themselves, getting the recognition and freedom they all deserve.
