I’m an atheist, but I can truly appreciate the beauty of this performance. If there is such a thing as a sprit, then it has certainly been devoted to writing such beautiful music.

Few weeks back my ol’ friend who does sacred music nailed this one and put tears in my eyes. Awesome awesome hymn, not enough Music Directors use it, but it isn’t always their fault as they’re bullied into playing newfangled stuff. Your rendition is truly great as well.

The Lord is great, in all His works and ways, Saved ones acknowledge this mid all earth's maze; God's greatness should make sinners stand in awe, And tremble, too, before His righteous Law. The Lord is great in wisdom, counsel, might - All things are seen by Him, Who dwells in Light, No thought can any hide from God on high, Nor hide away from His all-piercing eye. The Lord is great: the heavens show forth His strength, The mountains, trees, throughout earth's breadth and length, Show forth God's glory, and His majesty, In all God's works His wondrous power we see. The Lord is great: what wonders He hath wrought ! All nations are before the Lord as nought, So great is God that man can ne'er conceive His majesty and might - yet Him they grieve. The Lord is great, in love, to sinners dead: He loved - He gave - Christ's precious blood was shed, For sinners lost, far off, and worthless too, But now in Christ, by grace, such are made new. The Lord is great in wrath as well as love, This will be seen: He cometh from above ! When God, in awful majesty, shall come, Bevor His greatness many will be dumb. The Lord is great: all things were made by Him, Yet when Christ came, His people to redeem, The world rejected Him, they knew Him not; What God had said, they wickedly forgot. The Lord is great, saved ones acknowledge this, And, by God's grace, they have eternal bliss, But many still despise God's written Word, And fail to see the greatness of the Lord. The Lord is great ! The day of wrath draws near, When many will before God's greatness fear ! Will you have fear? - or are you saved by grace, Sheltered in Christ, the sinners' Hiding Place ? …............... The Lord bless thee and keep thee; the Lord make His face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee; the Lord lift up His countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.’ 21st Century King James Version .............. kind regards helmut eiler

At least they didn't remove the organ and didn't tear down the church. Like they do in the USA...nice old church s...it's so sad they sell everything of value. Strip them out to the shell..the Catholic Church is big on tearing down old church s Selling the property for big money.

My grandparents built a movie theater in 1926. Sold it in 1990. I still visit it .it's a concert hall now. I managed to say e the pipe organ..a 1926 Marr Colton organ built in New york.usa.. If I didn't bring it to the city leaders attention. It would been sold as scape. It's now restored and play weekly. Before shows and rock concert s..I was happy the city listen to me as a grandson. My mother enjoyed.it as a child growing up going to the movies.y children now can hear what there great grandparents did for the city spent a half a million in 1925..of the own money to build the theatre..25 thousand alone for the organ. I have the bill of contract In my safe ..thank God love the organ music. Church and theatre style

I agree with you. @Stephen Eggert, yes they didn't remove the organ or tear down the church like the Catholic Church is big on doing in the U.S. but then it should also be noted that this is not a Catholic Church, it is Lutheran.
