ryan's "i'm afraid that i" is the best thing i've ever heard in my life.

Gosh, this takes me back to when I was absolutely obsessed with P!ATD... I love Ryan so much. His talent was and has been completely overlooked. I miss these days... I would give so much to have attended Live in Denver. Their cover evokes such emotion.

I wonder if Brendon ever thinks about him and Ryan. maybe he wonders what could have been of them if he didn't leave. if they would still be talking and being Bestfriend like before. *sigh* I miss Ryan

Actually, Ryan wrote pretty much all of the songs on AFYCSO, and P.O. (Jon also helped with P.O.) In my opinion, I think Ryan is the better Lyricist...

Jordan spencer only wrote his drum parts. Ryan was the main lyricist for the first two albums and thats why they are widely regarded as the two best albums. Doab and pftw might be the worst patd albums because brendon solely wrote them. In twtltwtd he had dallon weekes and in v&v he had spencer. So yeah ryan did a lot more than back up sing.

Kenny Gibson Pftw is meh, fun to listen to but lyrically dry. DoaB on the other hand is my favourite Panic! album followed by V&Z and AFYSCO so I’d say they’re both good lyricists with significantly different writing styles

Maybe, it’s interesting to think about. But in multiple interviews Brendon’s said that ryan left because he didn’t want to be in panic! Anymore. I think it was fate, and ryan is awesome. But when he left I feel like it opened a whole world of creativity for Brandon. EX, death of a bachelor, pray for the wicked, vice and virtues.

I seriously think this is their best performance. The whole band just did very well, and then when Ryan had his part it added to the whole thing. I just seriously love this.

Just crying over the existence of this cover in 2022, I miss the old panic not the brendon urie singing high notes constantly on viva las vengeance

I saw panic and radiohead live in the same week, full circle emo dream

I keep coming back to this, it's just absolute perfection. I so wish I could've seen all four of them perform together. And weird coincidental foreshadowing to how the band ended up. Especially Brendon singing 'I lost myself' over and over again.

Honestly this cover gave me chills from the emotion it conveyed to me. Then again that might just be me.

Words can't explain how much I'm in love with this song and to hear Brendon sing it is just so amazing !!! And when Ryan started singing 😍 that gave me the chills haha >.< If I were lucky enough to be in that crowd, I would have been singing the lyrics at the top of my lungs!!! Sadly, I'm 8 years late *sigh*

2004-2023 This will always be one of my favorites! Beebo’s voice is amazing, Spencer’s killin’ it on the drums, and Ryan’s, “Well, I’m afraid that I… “ makes my heart speed up every👏🏻single👏🏻time👏🏻! I love Ryan’s voice, but I’ve always felt like they decided that Brendon should be the lead singer for a reason… and it was the right reason. The Northern Downpour video is the best example. When they get to the chorus, Ryan takes over singing the melody and Brendon switches to singing the harmony. Brendon’s voice overpowers Ryan’s, even when it shouldn’t. Dallon Weekes has one of the most amazing voices I have EVER heard, and it’s perfect for IDKhow, it was perfect for The Brobecks, but it wasn’t right for the lead singer of Panic! His talents were best used as backup vocals, songwriting and bassist for Panic! and it doesn’t take anything away from how incredible I think he is. These guys are all still so young. I’d be ecstatic if they did a reunion tour at some point, but I’m thankful for the music and memories they’ve given us. I know Brendon will be back eventually and Dallon’s still doing IDKHow. I still have hope that Ryan and Spencer will perform again. This was a beautiful era for Panic! but all good things must come to an end. Their music has changed my life and I get to carry it with me. 🤵🏽👰🏼🎩🤭💜🦋

I agree with you mostly, his voice did mess up a couple of times, but honestly I just like it more because of that. To me it just shows they didn't lip sing or anything, and his voice sounded amazing most of the time. But I can see how you don't really like his voice. I respect that you're not all overly disturbing with affection for them.

+Amy Thompson I think you can google it. Perspiration is the word you're looking for. But, in simplicity, it's a stage, they've been there for a while, working physically, under the constant warmth of lights that send out heat like a fired up sauna.

I personally prefer this version of karma police than the original by radiohead. Maybe its because i love PATD and i'm just used to brendon singing, and i had heard this before i heard the original version. But i still like this more. just saying!
