OK, Panic at the disco was basically an emo band when people our age (i'm 28 so clse you, Billy) were in middle and early high school. This song (as you gathered) is full of satire but basically about how the "wife" was cheating and the groom couldn't see it. They chose to go with the circus act as Brendon being the ring master becasue basically everyone in the audience knew what was going on but was putting on a smile for the big day. Hence all the clown make-up and fake smiles.

Panic at the Disco are mainly an alt-rock / emo band that found breakout success that crossed over to the pop charts. In emo bands, these long complicated song titles are quite common. My Chemical Romance and Fallout Boy are a couple other examples of that. The lead singer, Brendon Urie has an incredible voice. He just recently did a live rendition of Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody that was incredible. You should react to that one some time.

The circus imagery represents the wedding guests as being 'fake' and 'performers' because they all know who and what the bride is but just won't say anything. They know the groom is about to enter a onesided marriage based on cheating but don't tell him. Instead, it's a topic of gossip for the guests as they play the part and entertain the groom who is non the wiser.

“Build God, Then We’ll Talk” is another hilarious video with a great song. It’s one of my favorite songs from that album. “Death Of A Bachelor” is one of the best from PATD. Totally different vibe and song. Sinatra-like.

You HAVE TO get into PATD and Brendon Urie. He’s beyond amazing. He and Taylor did a song and live performance at the Grammy’s. His voice is SICK!

The concept of the video is that the singer is a man who has been wronged the same or similar way the groom has been! He’s pointing it out to the groom and passing the torch on so now the groom can do the same thing for the next guy! Panic is a great band!! Love them! Brandon Urie has a spectacular voice!

Panic! At the disco is still relevant to this day. Its just the lead singer, Brendon Urie now. But in the early days they were just a garage band and they just blew up. A Fever You Can't Sweat Out came out in 2005. I Write Sins, Not Tragedies hit the MTV music charts multiple times since then. Urie's latest album is called Praying For The Wicked. I believe he is still on tour at the moment....or maybe it ended. But my advice is listening to the trilogy songs for Panic! At The Disco: Say Amen (Saturday Night), This is Gospel, And Emperors New Clothes. The songs were released in a different order but this is the order of the trilogy

From the first time I heard until I bought the album and actually read the lyrics, I thought they were saying "Poison rationality" instead of "Poise and rationality". Favorite band/album from my high school years.

One of my favorite songs. I'd absolutely reccomend the tilogy and LA Devotee as well as King of the Clouds and Ballad of Mona Lisa.

This was from the first album. Please react to more recent videos. Like the Bohemian Rhapsody live cover from the Death of Bachelor tour. Brendon Urie is the lead singer and he is an amazing singer and performer. ❤️❤️❤️

So when the lead singer and the groom take a bow they switch places. The groom becomes the next ring leader and a new clown is added to the group
