Filipino language is an old Malay language with mixture of some Spanish and modified English words in it.. South East Asia is a Malay Archipelago that's why there's many similarities in languages. Modern Bahasa Malaysia is a mixtures of Hindi, Arabic and modified English as well.. We, Malaysians are so fond of the Filipino songs.. Back then geographically we were one.. Peace out!

it's easy for both country to pronunce both language since botg are from the same root of language..I've listen phil people sing Malay song..they sing perfectly like we do..and to date, we have Phil originated artist built His career in Malaysia and he is so famous. You can search 'Mark Adam' in youtube..he has a lot of song in Malay.
