Recipe:
Ingredients:
500 grams paneer
1/2 cup cashews, soaked in water for 30 minutes
2 cups yogurt
2 tablespoons ginger paste
2 tablespoons garlic paste
1 tablespoon coriander powder
1 tablespoon cumin powder
1 tablespoon garam masala powder
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon red chili powder
Salt to taste
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons oil
2 onions, sliced
2 tomatoes, chopped
2 tbdpheavy cream
Coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions:
Cut the paneer into bite-sized cubes and set aside.
Drain the soaked cashews and blend them into a smooth paste using a blender or food processor.
In a large bowl, whisk together the yogurt, ginger paste, garlic paste, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt.
Heat the ghee and oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.
Add the chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn soft and mushy.
Add the cashew paste and cook for a few minutes until it turns slightly brown.
Add the whisked yogurt mixture and mix well.
Add the paneer cubes and simmer for 5-7 minutes until the paneer is cooked through and the gravy has thickened.
Stir in the heavy cream and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with naan or rice.
