Let's not being religion here. You and I can do that, being Hindus, but let's say even the tabla maestro here, Alla Rakha Khan is not. Muslims, and every other religion/non-religion have right to music. I am not being a snob, I know you meant it in a good sense, but so do I.

@@kendrakrust1244 Don't be ignorant, hindustani shashtriya sangeet has it's roots in Hinduism and especially Bhakti movement. Ustad Allah Rakha and Ustad Zakir Hussain themselves used to pray Lord Ganesha. No muslim ustads ever denied their hindu roots as all of them had to convert. They all still sing bandishes of Radha, Krishna, Shiva, Rama and Devi.
