Wtf this is not how I expected it to sound at all, it sounds so nice and nostalgic~

Given this is a product of the late 90s (the songs where written much earlier than when discs were made in early 2000) - the grunge inspiration is something that a lot of younger first time listeners never mention because they mistake it for other genres. This is essentially a time capsule of what was still popular at the time: grunge, nu metal, alt rock pop (often inspired by bands like Smashing Pumpkins), and etc - all while experimenting with vapor wave and genres that would become familiar 20 years later with gen z - but were totally bizzare and unpopular/experimental (even unlistenable) to 'most' people at the time. Honestly, had I listened to this when I was in collage in 1999/2000 I probably would have hated it. Now years later I appreciate it, as a lot of what they were doing with this EP in 99 is now common in the 2023. And though people seem to prefer the Remastered versions, I prefer the original flaws and all. Throw on some sennheiser HD 600s and sit back and relax. Its a beautiful time capsule.

nu metal panchiko and 90s vaporwave is crazy

Honestly the original version adds to the obscurity. A niche relic lost by time only to resurface over recent years gaining a good amount of people digging the music.can’t imagine how the band members were thinking/reacting seeing their forgotten project they did during their highschool days when they were once close friends suddenly garnering popularity because of some curious 4channers

What a vibe. I'm relaxing nicely to this. Smoked half a joint, headphones on, and listened to the whole album while melting into my chair.

Wish I had the same first experience, listened to this at a job I hate after 8 hours

Dude I'm so proud I found this on my own before I learned about the lore I feel so cool

I'm a Death metal fan. But still I like this non Death Metal music. It's actually really good. I expected some kind of baby metal/ Poppy sounding band. I'm pleasantly surprised for a vapor/chill record. Good shit Panchiko rocks!

This is actually really nice, it’s a shame it was forgotten for such a long time. But hey, at least it’s seeing the light of day now!

Compared to the remaster: The bass is more prominent than the remaster. Enough that my cars subwoofers actually are getting a loud enough signal to work. In the remaster it’s like there’s just a hint of bass. It’s quieter than the remaster And there’s slight compression. Which is to be expected.

Honestly this sounds pretty normal for a rip off of a rotted disk. Not sure what’s supposed to be so different from the mastered version. Sounds good to me

This is not the rotted version. This is a rip of an intact version of the original CD, before it was remastered for streaming and the new physical copies.
