Hi all RDicted fans...Well explained sir. The BOSS was an all rounder composer. If he is told to compose for kids situation he just easily get down to their innocent attitude...Yes lakri ki kathi has become a masterpiece as far as kids situation is concerned. Many kids related songs have been composed by others but this height is only dreamable. It has become a reference. RD could understand situation, mood, story, picturization and parameters related to movies far better than any composers in Bollywood. BOSS was simply too good. Thank you RDB

Everyone praises Pancham Da, yes he was an institution and genius composer and music director. But I would pause and take time to compliment Maddy Sahab for dissecting the compositions of our beloved R.D. Burman da and taking us to the core of his music and the depth of his heart. Thank you Maddy for starting this channel and sharing the insights of Pancham Da.

Great observation and explanation. I would also like to add about Kis Moad Se Jaate hain.. song. In this that taan used on the word Moad, itself has so much twist and turn, that it perfectly fits the Hindi word Moad. Again.. A genius composer can only do such fine things. Hats off to him.

@@panchamsmagic2868 Arranger is a key figure in the team. It is is his job to create the interludes, the backing counters etc. However, it is all give and take amongst the team members. Sometimes, the musicians also pitch in with their ideas and suggestions. The Music Composer is the final authority. Will try and cover this in more detail in some video. The general set up is - The composer (Panchamda) composes the main melody. The Rhythm Arranger (Marutikaka Keer) designs the rhythm of the song. The music arranger(Basuda/Manoharida/Bablooda) creates the interludes/counter melodies. But being a team, all of them complimented and contributed to each other and hence we got the miracles that TEAM RDB left behind.
