This is hauntingly beautiful. Made my day! Indoor tree is one of my favourite tunes. Thank you so much!
I'm already ordered my first hurry gurdy! Now I have to wait for one year or longer! But I use the time to learn to play with a borrowed gurdy! This compilation is so inspiring and motivating for me as a beginner! Thank you for that!!!
Tausend Dank für die wunderschöne Musik auf diesem besonderen Instrument! ❤️ Das lässt mich all die Traurigkeit in der heutigen Zeit vergessen.
Thank you so much for this!!!!!!!!!!!! Made my weekend 100% better. I love your work. Cheers from Brazil :)
I have played hurdy gurdy but I don't have instrument anymore. I hope a day I will get a new one. Thank you Nigel for all !
J'adore ce morceau, je l'écoute souvent ❤
Wonderful compilation Nigel. This will feature in our family gathering this Christmas. I'm getting good at humming your pieces, which keeps me high when I'm away from home. Not easy with dentures though.
Earlier today, I heard that Colin Burgess had passed away (Drummer AC/DC). I started thinking about the music of the 70s and 80s and was trying to remember all the various musicians that had played with groups like AC/DC and Led Zepplin (and others). Out of the blue, the name Nigel Eaton came to mind for some reason and I was thinking that name and suddenly (Hurdy Gurdy) popped into my head. (Old Neurons firing for the first time in years perhaps). It's been a long time since I listened to those groups. But I knew there was some kind of relation to Rock and Roll + Hurdy Gurdy + Nigel Eaton. I don't know why, but it was bouncing around inside my head. I did a search on Google and ended up here. I'm glad I did, the music I heard on this channel is enchantingly beautiful. I'm not sure if this Mr. Eaton played with either group (I'm kind of getting on in years and the 70s and 80s are all a jumble in my brain) but if so, I'm really happy to find this channel. Still bummed about the passing of Colin Burgess, but happy to find this channel and the uplifting music.

@@nigeleaton1Thank you for letting me know that you are THAT Nigel Eaton. Your name stuck in all the mess in my head. I get these memories sometimes... odd stuff, total trivia sometimes, other times things just stick. Yours is not the most common instrument, which was probably what made the connection happen. Some performances stand out (like the first time I heard Stairway to Heaven live) and sometimes a name is attached to the memory. I'm getting old and it's nice sometimes to have ANY memories. Your channel is awesome, will you take a request? I'd love to hear "The Irish Washerwoman" If you know that one.

@@nigeleaton1 No matter, I still like the tunes you play on your channel. And I managed to find a video online of the concert where you played with Page & Plant apparently from 2/13/1996. I don't know why but I remember that performance or where I'd seen it originally. I'd seen it on video somewhere, probably. I think that may have been the first time I ever heard a Hurdy Gurdy now that I think of it. Anyway, no reply needed this time, but I do want to say your music was and remains absolutely great/fun/awesome and somehow has stuck in my mind a very long time. Not sure if you were aware that it (the video) existed online, but I found it on Dario Romero's Remastered Concerts channel here on KZread. Happy holidays. Take care of yourself and thank you for communicating.
They're all brilliant but Tulip Fever remains my favorite!!
This is brilliant!
I really love this sound
Very nice
Magnifique collection: merci, merci, merciiii!!!!!!
¡Gracias!
Fantastic to have all these great tunes in a compilation!
Superb. I’m only 2 tracks in but loving this jazzy 2nd tune. And some double keyboard I’m guessing
Woah, that bass player really is something, super cool guy.

thanks , i do lessons if you're interested
Nice harmonies and rhythms yet note the drone steadiness. Build-up of suspense. I'm only three minutes in... ah now a shift of theme. Violin and orchestra effect. Four minutes in... We are traveling over the land with honorable cause... six minutes... Ah, there is the view of the village way yonder... we shall soon be relaxed and story-telling in the pub... ten minutes... wake up and embrace the jig of tending the farm animals... lots more travels to come... Mystery begins at sixteen minutes - where will it take us? Thank you, this is an epic delight. Great mix and performance of instruments. May I buy this cd for my friends and relatives?
Fanstastic music thank you!
Superb! Thank you.
Thank You Mr. Eaton!!

30 mins!? Youve spoilt us
Fabulous! So glad to see this come up in my feed. Thank you Nigel!
This is really special, love it 🎉
Nice 👍
Compositions are beautiful. Starting in on the mix and am excite to see if the Mighty Speedway made it in. A published composition ebook pdf is something I would invest in to learn and share the compositions if it were offered along with a CD. I’m I’m the Scottish small pipe - whistle realm -
