Despite when Amazon started selling the Panasonic, I have an RF-2400 here I bought back in 2002 when I moved into this house and wanted a battery / AC radio for my garage. The QFX one is definitely a knock-off. The Panasonic radio I have looks exactly like the current model 2400D but it's over 20 years old. While the RF-2400D looks identical to the 2400, the 2400D has a slight upgrade to the receiver apparently and was released in 2015 here in Australia. I'm not sure when the RF-2400D was released in the US. Apart from needing a little contact cleaner spray into the volume pot a few years ago as it got a bit scratchy, the radio still works 100%. How long can its battery last?

according to the manual if you are using rechargeable batteries its about 20 hours and if you are using regular alkaline batteries it claims 50ish hours. then again it depends on how loud you have the radio. hopefully this was helpful

@@SpaztasticTV I usually do not like Digital Chip radios because you can't tune in between the channel.
