I tested SuperJoy with Panasonic AW-UE150 camera, but manual focus do not work. Iris control is from R/B knobs which is strange where there is specific IRIS knob on the SuperJoy

Hello! If you are experiencing an issue where the HDMI output does not work on a Panasonic PTZ camera when it is controlled by a PTZOptics SuperJoy controller, it's important to note that the controller itself typically does not directly affect the video output capabilities of the camera, such as HDMI. The PTZOptics SuperJoy is designed to control the pan, tilt, zoom, and other camera settings, but it doesn't directly interface with the video transmission/output of the camera. Here are some steps to troubleshoot the HDMI output issue on your Panasonic PTZ camera: 1. Check the HDMI Connection Secure Cable Connection: Ensure that the HDMI cable is securely connected to both the camera and the display device (monitor, recorder, etc.). Test with Another Cable: Try a different HDMI cable to rule out a cable issue. 2. Verify Camera Settings Output Settings: Check the camera's output settings to make sure HDMI output is enabled and correctly configured. Some cameras have settings that allow you to select the video format for different outputs (like HDMI, SDI, etc.). Resolution and Frame Rate: Ensure the HDMI output settings (resolution and frame rate) are compatible with your connected display device. 3. Inspect Display Device Input Source: On the monitor or recorder, make sure the correct input source (the one connected to your camera) is selected. Compatibility: Verify that the display device supports the resolution and frame rate settings you are using on your camera. 4. Test RTSP Stream Since you mentioned the RTSP stream settings, test the RTSP stream on a separate device or software to ensure the camera is functioning properly in terms of video transmission. 5. Camera Firmware Update Firmware: Make sure your Panasonic PTZ camera has the latest firmware installed. Firmware updates can resolve various operational issues. 6. Reset Camera Settings Factory Reset: If none of the above steps work, consider performing a factory reset on the camera. Note that this will revert all settings to their defaults. 7. Consult the Manual Camera Manual: Refer to the camera's user manual for specific troubleshooting related to video outputs. 8. Contact Support If the problem persists, contact Panasonic support for assistance. They can provide model-specific guidance and technical support. Remember, the PTZOptics SuperJoy controller's primary function is to control the movements and settings of the camera, and it should not impact the HDMI output of the camera. The issue is likely related to either the camera's settings, the cable/connection, or the compatibility with the display device.
