I am dealing with a different issue but the same Microwave. All electrical is fine but the door will not open. I removed the housing as shown in your video and discovered there is no issue with the door lever but one of two mounting hinges for the lever plastically deformed and actually snapped off. From what I can tell this hinge is part of a larger part/assembly, possibly the control panel. If this is the case I want to JB weld it back on as it would be a costly repair for such a simple part. Please let me know if anyone has had this issue/knows how to do further disassembly of this microwave.

If anyone contacts me with a solution, or can offer you a used assembly from their unfixable unit, I will get back to you.

FYI I resolved this issue. Full disassembly of the housing is not required. Removal of cover over the carbon filter and two screws holding the the controller panel only required. Once screws removed the control panel can be pushed down, popped out and electrical disconnects easily removed. I carefully used JB weld to reattached the broken hinge and once everything reassembled it is working as it did before. Hope this helps someone else save time on this issue.

@@michaellipinski2311 Excellent update Thx. I am sure this will help inspire others to take their non-functioning unit apart and see if they can correct the problem. Good job BTW!

@@michaellipinski2311 I am trying the JB Weld thing as we speak as we seem to have the same problem. AND finding the actual part is next to impossible. IF someone has a used part for this (Control Panel) I could use one...

@@Activernon I'm attempting what he suggested now.. just letting the JB Weld Cure overnight till tomorrow afternoon... BUT if a spare control panel comes up for this, i could certainly use it.
