I got unlucky with friends projection TV. Not only transistor but flyback transformer also blown. Parts not available .I want to buy. 1940 style TV. Pretend I live in the peaceful past.

The whole long red silicon cable of the flyback transformer is usable? Isn't it too thin? How do you put it on the tip of the desoldering pump?

Where do technicians find reliable line output transistors. All I find is Chinese fakes
