I have my G9 II and I really enjoy the slowmotion mode. Such a great camera!

Right now I shoot in normal recording mode and adjust speed in post, but next time I will try S&Q to get faster result!

Love these birds, I enjoy it while I filmed and really loved how they look a bit clumsy in slow motion with the fruits.

I have a Olympus E-M1 Mk III. I didn't know how much I'd enjoy shooting slow motion short clips until I tried, but it only has 1080 @120fps and only with S-AF or MF, and no audio. Pretty sure the G9 II is my next M43 camera. I think it does all of what I'm missing. Thanks for sharing. Loved the clips. I assume it was hand held? What lens did you use?

Yes it was handheld with the Leica 200mm 2.8, with 4k120 in G9 II, you loose bird detection but standard AFC still works!

Amazing! Seems like the missing animal detection at 4k 120 isnt such a thing?

You do loose the bird/animal AF, but you still have great autofocus. Coming from DSLR and having started bird photography with a Nikon D50, bird AF is a powerful tool that get you to work on composition without worrying about your focus but ain't a necessity.

Thank you so much for your answer! Struggeling to decide whether to buy an om1 or g9 ii at the moment. Main worry for me is the buffer from g9 ii. I heard that it needs a lot of time to clear up so you could potentially miss action

I did not fully tried the continuous shooting to tried every speed, right now I'm mainly using 14 shot/second and get about 100 shot before it slow down, I assume that if you shoot at 75fps it will overload fast indeed.

@@birdnerdqc4028 For me slowing down is not the problem, I saw in the review of duade paton that the camera needed like 1 minute to clear the buffer and during this time he couldn't take photos. Hopefully this will be fixed!

@@chiara1086 I did some test with a Sony V90 Tough and unlike Duade Paton test I was able to shoot some quick burst, after buffer was filled, did not have to wait a whole minute, look like it's fixed!
