This morning my wife had her class. She told me she had boiled Rajma and if I could cook it. I said OK. I searched KZread and this was the first recipe which I found. The whole process was so simple. I cooked Rajma. And my wife is like what did you do... This is tasty.... Thanks a lot for this.

Xctly paaaani to aa gya. I love rajma chawal from my childhood

4-5 whistles for rajma 2 tblsp cumin 1 med sliced onion (translucent) 1 tsp ginger garlic paste 2 medium tomatoes Salt to taste (cover lid till tomatoes soft 2-3 min) Make puree in the mixture 2 tsp kashmiri powder 2 tsp coriander powder 1/2 tsp haldi (turmeric) Cover lid and cook mixture 2-3 chopped green chilis Add 1 cup water Cover & cook medium flame 4-5 min Coriander leaves + 1 tsp garam masala Serve!

While frying the puree, add a little bit of curd , trust me it enhances the flavour immensly.

M from Jammu.. and Rajmah Chawal with desi ghee is our regular dish that my mom cooked on every Sunday. I rarely skip any lunch on Sunday because I just loved my mom's homemade Rajmah Chawal. Even we have different places in Jammu where Rajmah Chawal is a popular dish and people just love to visit those places ❤️❤️ Also the beans from Bhadarwah in Jammu are pure red in colour and are most famous.

I can relate when I went to Jammu I ate only rajma and chawal because they were hands down the best ever had in my life I don't know why but the taste of Jammu and Kashmir rajma chawal is much much different from the regular ones.

Love Indian food although I'm Pakistani... I will try this Inshallah 🥰😊.
